> 24 hourDue to my current work-from-home set-up requiring me to use three different laptops, due to being responsible for multiple platforms, I was looking for a way to avoid having to either keep three laptop chargers constantly plugged in or having to manually plug/unplug each one. This power strip was the perfect solution. Now I can use the Kasa App on my phone to conveniently turn on the chargers I need and turn off the ones I dont. Im also able to set-up a schedule so the strip automatically turns certain chargers on and off according to my work schedule. My only regret was not buying the strip with more outlets, but still highly recommend this product.

> 24 hourSeems to work fine. Does not have Energy Monitoring / Power Consumption. This only has Run Time.

> 24 hourWorked great for a couple of months now the smart aspect of it works every so often making it the same as a simple power strip.

> 24 hourCompatibility with Google Home is good but not consistent. Sometimes one or more of the outlets on this 3-outlet strip are offline to Google Home and Smartthings and can only be controlled remotely by the Kasa app. Once controlled from the Kasa app, its available again to Google Home without a reset.

> 24 hourThis has to be the easiest smart controlled device I have worked with. The only downside is it does make a click when turned off/on but I don’t mind

> 24 hourI love Kasa products because of their ease in set up and integration. I don’t know if I have received a faulty unit but all the plugs turn on by themselves when you turn on only one. Also the usb ports are not Wi-Fi controlled. I will still buy there products just not fond of this one.

> 24 hourI love the Kasa products and the ability to have control when Im away and to also set schedules for the lighting. I take away one star because every now and then the products seem to lose contact with the app. At first, I thought it was a wifi issue but when I unplug and replug the outlet or bulb, it re-establishes contact with the app immediately. I also tried refreshing from within the app but that doesnt help. I put some of these plugs and bulbs in hard to reach places for the ease of use but if I have to reach the plug then there is no point. It doesnt bother me too much since it doesnt happen that often but it does happen.

> 24 hourThis is the second Kasa power strip Ive gotten and they have simplified my home so much. I have them set on timers for specific plugs which makes it one less thing I need to think about. Ive been slowly integrating these types of products into my home, the Kasa smart bulbs are wonderful as well. Easy to set up and easy to use within the Kasa app.

> 24 hourSetting up was a little difficult because the device wouldnt find the WiFi from my phone. I ended up switching my wifi router to manual channel selection on the 2.4ghz. Once I did this, I had to relogin to my wifi on my phone, but it worked to get the kasa plugs connected. Once that was was figured out, it was off to the races easily assigning plugs and connecting them to Alexa.

> 24 hourWell, its sleek looking. Handsome even. I saw this power strip and thought to myself well thats a good lookin power strip right there. That gets a solid 1 star..aside from the fact that Amazon doesnt allow zero. Im sure if i plugged things into it, it might work, but i could have bought 2x excellent APC dumb strips for the price. Ive got a google Wifi setup at home. First generation. NLS-1304-25. If you are familiar with mesh routers, aside from the netgear orbi, most of them have both 2.4 and 5 ghz broadcasted under the same SSID. Now most smart home devices, while all 2.4 ghz devices, can be classified per a google wifi setup as 1. Works out of the box 2. Works with a bit of gymnastics 3. Does not work / cant even get past setup Unlike the star rating, this fall under #3. ive got 4 Kasa plugs to my name and one other setup for another person. I could say I was a fan. Not my first time setting up a plug/plug like device in the TP link app. I had just failed attempt 21 with a TP link support person after failing setup 20 times myself. Not an exaggeration. i like even numbers. As part of the self troubleshooting process, i have tried the setup with 3 devices (2x Android, 1x ipad). Between each setup I did a reset by holding down one of the buttons on the switch to reset it back to a green/orange color and plugged/unplugged . Within said attempts, Ive tried things like only using an android device that works on the 2.4 ghz frequency (Android 8.1, some cheap LG), walking far away from my wifi to force a 2.4 ghz connection with my other android (pixel 3), and using the ipad. I can get as far as freezing on the attempting to connect the strip to the network or to the cannot connect to wifi screen, but no further. Rounding out hour 3.5 with support. Being escalated now to their senior engineer. Come on TP link. Ive already been burned by your Archer C8 router...gave TP link a chance with single plugs and was impressed..now this. Lets turn this review into 3 or 4 stars. EDIT: Follow the definition of insanity. Keep trying for hours. Do the same thing and eventually it will work. Actual troubleshooting got me nowhere. TP link support is useless. They will give you troubleshooting steps that you JUST DID and JUST TOLD them you did. This is staying at 1 star. Terrible product. Worse support. Powering on / item devices became hit or miss. Id hear the click but nothing. Id have to physically hit the switch button then hit it again for it to work. Stay away from this product. Get their single plugs if you are going to get their smart plug
