> 3 dayI love the Kasa products and the ability to have control when Im away and to also set schedules for the lighting. I take away one star because every now and then the products seem to lose contact with the app. At first, I thought it was a wifi issue but when I unplug and replug the outlet or bulb, it re-establishes contact with the app immediately. I also tried refreshing from within the app but that doesnt help. I put some of these plugs and bulbs in hard to reach places for the ease of use but if I have to reach the plug then there is no point. It doesnt bother me too much since it doesnt happen that often but it does happen.

> 3 dayI have several products from TP kasa due to connection with Google/Alexa/brillant systems. This strip being reviewed has a single outlet which stopped working for an unknown reason. Several tests done and still not working for unknown reason. Contacted MFG and they were open to considering replacement, within warranty period as mine is, but I would be required to pay for shipping of defective item back to them and then wait for them to decide on outcome and send me a replacement. All this is unusual and after spending $35 on a smart power strip which stopped functioning properly. now have to spend more for same product? Other ratings will be good as the product is good. This one just had a defective aspect. Overall TP-Kasa products are worth it.

07-06-2025I love Kasa products because of their ease in set up and integration. I don’t know if I have received a faulty unit but all the plugs turn on by themselves when you turn on only one. Also the usb ports are not Wi-Fi controlled. I will still buy there products just not fond of this one.

3rd Time is a Charmer
> 3 dayI needed a set up, that in the long run would be able to turn on and off my external hard drives, and a table lamp that sits behind my desk. I have several other TP-Link Kasa smart products, so that was one less app to have. I have never had a problem with integration or functionality with Kasa products. I ended up using one of the plugs for my wifes work laptop, but as you can see, there is quite a bit of space between each outlet. That provides more flexibility on what you want to plug in. Pros: - Adequately spaced outlets for potential larger plugs - If you have multi devices to plug in that you want smart access to, this is better than buying a normal power strip or surge protector and then buying additional smart plugs to plug into them (ie. buy a 6 outlet strip, only to have 3 individual smart plugs taking up all 6 spots on the strip) Cons: - Nice flat 90° plug for tight places, but I wish the cord itself was longer than ~36 inches. I ended up 3m velco taping it underneath the desk to keep it out of sight. - Price is a little on the high side. You could save a few dollars going the route I mentioned earlier (strip and individual smart plugs), but this is still more aesthetically pleasing, thus justifiable.

> 3 dayDue to my current work-from-home set-up requiring me to use three different laptops, due to being responsible for multiple platforms, I was looking for a way to avoid having to either keep three laptop chargers constantly plugged in or having to manually plug/unplug each one. This power strip was the perfect solution. Now I can use the Kasa App on my phone to conveniently turn on the chargers I need and turn off the ones I dont. Im also able to set-up a schedule so the strip automatically turns certain chargers on and off according to my work schedule. My only regret was not buying the strip with more outlets, but still highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayWorks great, functional app that allows you to program the 3 power sockets (not the USB ports) . Can link to the Google Home app. Only works on 2.4ghz Wi-Fi.

Greater than one weekI bought this to replace a dumb strip that I was using for my 3D printer and wireless interface/camera for it. I wanted to be able to set a timer and turn them off once a print finished at night while I was sleeping. This worked out great for me, minus the Alexa integration. You can setup groups within the Kasa app but those groups are not shared or displayed within Alexa. So dont waste your time making these plugs a group in the Kasa app, go inside Alexa app and make it there. Otherwise its fine, quick and responsive. The build quality is solid. Note that the USB ports are not high wattage so youll not get any fast charging on any of your devices. Overall its great, especially if you get it on sale

> 3 daySo when I first got this I thought it would be super basic and cheap. To my surprise TP link has actually taken the time to design this. From two USB ports on the strip and three standard three prong plugs this is a Amazing device to add to any smart home intergration. Easy app setup of the device only took 3 minutes to set up from start to end, each plug is able to be renamed and the Google home app with identify those names.

Greater than one weekI bought this to plug in some arcade cabinets. I can individually name each plug, so that I can turn on just that one machine that i want to play with my voice. I also created a group called arcade, so just asking Alexa to turn on the arcade turns all 3 of them on at the same time. Seems to be working as intended so far. My only grip with this product is the USB ports are always powered. I wish they could be turned on and off with a voice command as well. Would make it easier for some of the lights I have in the arcade to come on along with everything else instead of manually having to be turned on. Ill probably wind up getting another one to plug in the lights, but for right now its not that big a deal. For the price and ease of setup and use I highly recommend this power strip.
