Kester 24-6337-0027 Solder Roll, Core Size 66, 63/37 Alloy, 0.031 Diameter

This is a good solder for electronics. This blend goes back to solid much faster than some other types. Id recommend it for both point to point and pcb soldering.

Ive been using this solder for over thirty years. Industry standard. Wouldnt change for the world. In my eyes its simply the best solder for electronics.

Ive always had a hard time soldering. I have tried many varieties of solder and flux as well as different irons/guns. I just figured thats how it was. I just used this Kester 63/37 today along with some new Rubyfluid soldering paste and wow, night and day difference. Just finished repairing several broken wires in a automotive wiring harness and I actually enjoyed the soldering work this time. This solder melts quick and flows nice. Its expensive but worth every penny.

Great item easy to work with

Ive have assembled many circuit boards with this. It is much better than Radio Shack solder!

Good quality solder in a right, usable gauge. Kester is a top tier solder company, and the eutectic 63/37 blend flows fast and gives a quick joint. Yes, it contains lead, so if you are concerned with this or live in Europe this might not be your choice. But if you want a fluid, solid joint with a clean flux then the 44 blend just plain works. Time proven, solid performance. Not eco-wonderful.

Want it thicker, triple strand and give it a tight twist. Great solder, only the best.
