My stock power supply for my Synology DS918+ died after about 4 years and the Synology was only showing a blinking blue light. I was looking to replace it and found this. Perfect fit and build quality seems the same as the power brick that same with my Synology. Very happy with this and would recommend to anyone else who was in my situation. I was able to get back up and running quickly with this KFD 4 PIN Adapter.

My ORM DS Power Brick dies suddenly and after panicking and searching, I replaced it with this and its been running fine ever since.

My Synology was randomly powering off for unknown reasons and then, one day, decided to turn off and never come back. I suspected the power adapter immediately and jumped onto Amazon to order this replacement. While the connector to the back of the Synology was a bit tighter than the OEM, it went in fine and as soon as I connected the power, my Synology came back to life! While its too early to tell about longevity, this adapter feels very solid and should last for at least as long as the original (5 years).

Specs were slightly different from the one originally supplied. But…the unit fired up without any problems. Working like new again

Original went bad and couldnt find an OEM replacement. This one did the job

Sigh of relief when the my NAS came back to life

I ended up ordering this twice as my first one was DOA, leading me to question whether or not it was my machine that was dead. However, the power brick has a light on it and the first unit’s light was not lit. Using a multimeter, I could tell there was no power. The pin out is printed on the label in case you need to check. Second unit works as intended, light is lit, brought my NAS back to life

My Synology DS916+ was suddenly powered off and I quickly determined that it was because of a dead power supply. Ordered this one which arrived the same day and all was well after replacement.
