> 3 dayThis product worked great and allowed for ample time to make fine tune adjustments before adhering and the dimpled grid pattern helped with cutting so as not to waste time marking lines as well as allowing for expansion on curves and contours. This size works out perfect on hitting the sweet spot for efficiency and minimal scraps that will also get used along the way.

16-11-2024Product was used in a 2018 Chevy Express Extended Passenger Van conversion. After gutting the van we lined the entire walls in back and side doors, wheel wells and ceiling with the product. On our first short trip to a National Park we were amazed at how quiet the interior was on the highway. We could not hear most cars passing by and semi trucks were very muffled. The only doors we did not apply yet was the driver and passenger doors and yet the sound dampening was awesome. The application process was fun and easy. The lines on the foil backing made it easy to measure and cut straight pieces to fit where needed. We did purchase a heavy duty pair of scissors at the DIY store for under $20.00 which made the cutting of product easy. We even used some of the backing paper to create templates of some of the more challenging areas and used outline to trace onto back of product for a perfect cut and fit. We purchased two boxes and have a half a box left. Oh yea, we also purchased the metal rollers recommended for pressing the product securely against the area applied. One more thing, one of the reviews for this product recommended using a metal spoon to press product in hard to reach areas and it worked great.

> 3 dayI really like this product, it was super easy to lay out and trim to fit pieces where full sheets wouldnt fit. I could of taken more time and fit it a Bit better but in less than 30 minutes I did the entire floor of a 06 crew cab gmc 2500hd. I have not driven yet for noise test but just tapping on the floor you can instantly tell it will be helpful. My factory mass backing had water damage so I liked this for noise reduction and getting rid of the padding.

> 3 dayI have never used sound deadening mats, but I customize my cars A LOT. The price of this product is way lower than the leading brands but the quality is fantastic. I thought I would be getting a lower quality alternative- side by side it looks and feels like the big name brands. You will notice how heavy the stuff is from the box, which wasnt light nor fluffy. I especially liked the grid system for easy and precise cutting on the foil side. Once I measured and cut, install was a breeze. In fact, I had to re position a few pieces, the glue had no problem adhering even with a couple of times off and on. I did the door panels on my Tesla, which was already pretty quiet. It seems quieter but unfortunately that is seat of the pants, not scientific. I didnt take before and after readings. I did put some behind the speaker in my Ram truck and sound DEFINITELY comes out louder than before, with less loss behind the speaker. 50 square feet is more than enough to do a vehicle completely. The instructions recommend using gloves- I didnt and found no ill effects or reduced adhesion.

> 3 dayInstalled in a 2021 Dodge Challenger and has helped with rattles and hollow sounds from all locations in the car. Easy to install. Make sure you measure several times and cut once. Save all your scraps they will come in handy for those hard to reach locations.

> 3 dayIve bought this twice now for two separate restore jobs. Its pretty easy to apply to the metal. Its pretty easy to position where you want it and then cut out the areas for the seat bolts and seat belt bolts. If you prewire the stereo wires to the back, this stuff will also cover up those wires pretty well. buying the roller was a waste of money. I stopped using it and just used my hand to press this stuff down since the floor of the truck isnt smooth and the back is that shiny slick foil stuff. I also noticed that when I had small areas of over lap, like when I was setting in an inside corner with two pieces, if you press a little harder you can hardly tell its double thick-just in case youre wondering if it could make the carpet bulge a bit, it doesnt.
