> 3 dayI used this in conjunction with egg crate foam material. This inexpensive box went a long way for my Crosstrek project. The car had ridiculous amounts of road noise, could barely hear voices on the stereo. I good roller helps for application. You can cut this stuff to fit anywhere you can reach. I used the egg shell for harder to reach areas. I only applied the mat to metal as it was the sturdiest part of the car. If you ever have to take this stuff off its going to be one hell of a mess. Sticky tar/rubber base but the foil keeps it covered. I also made some non stick pads for the floor mats that work well. While I didnt take measurements with a db meter I did only do my four doors first and kept hearing weird car noises....I didnt do the hatchback. When I did that and added the floor mats my car was as quiet as could be. No ear fatigue from road noise and my stereo sounds great(with some other tweaks). This is subjective but I find that every toyota Ive owned has a pretty quite interior. My Crosstrek is now on the level and maybe a bit better than that. I can listen to the radio at a low volume and still hear.

> 3 dayHave used these on multiple vehicles and am very happy with the quality and price point. They stick very well! I recommend getting a set of rollers to really put some pressure when installing. I lined my trunk/hatch area in my 07 Honda Fit and noticed it was quieter (even with the wind noise Fits are know for:) I follow it up with some sound deadening mat. Very happy with this product! Would and have bought again!

Greater than one weekIt is easy to handle, easy to cut, easy to apply just over all easy. The hardest part is probably the assembly and reassembly of your vehicle. I used this for my 2022 Nissan Altima.

19-11-2024I ordered 4 boxes for a total of 200 sq ft. I still have half a box left after covering the inside of my entire van with 2 layers. Its heavy but really high quality especially for the price.

> 3 dayLove this stuff, so much cheaper than dynamat and no difference in quality. Super easy to cut, easy to roll down(with the right rollers), molds amazingly well around anything, and deadening quality is awesome. No complaints what so ever. There’s a reason why it has thousands of good reviews. Also 50sq ft did my entire trunk even to sides and double layers on my trunk lid and still had a bunch leftover. My trunk is kinda small it’s a 2013 Cadillac ATS but considering how much I had leftover 50sqft will cover the biggest of trunks and I assume be able to double layer the main parts of the lid too. Even did my license plate!

> 3 dayIve bought this twice now for two separate restore jobs. Its pretty easy to apply to the metal. Its pretty easy to position where you want it and then cut out the areas for the seat bolts and seat belt bolts. If you prewire the stereo wires to the back, this stuff will also cover up those wires pretty well. buying the roller was a waste of money. I stopped using it and just used my hand to press this stuff down since the floor of the truck isnt smooth and the back is that shiny slick foil stuff. I also noticed that when I had small areas of over lap, like when I was setting in an inside corner with two pieces, if you press a little harder you can hardly tell its double thick-just in case youre wondering if it could make the carpet bulge a bit, it doesnt.
