I think this game is the best of the series. the characters you can relate to, the story is touching, and the fighting style is sooooo much easier than the other games. BUT I recommend also getting the bradygames kingdom hearts birth by sleep walkthrough for advanced gameplay. I was stuck on the end of terras story (it took me five hours!) but it completely helped me so i could pass it without losing half of my health bar. So if your looking something to get someone as a gift, i recommend this game.

If youve never played this installment of Kingdom Hearts you are missing out. The Command system replaces MP and you can design Command Decks to your play style. If that wasnt enough, you can create crazy commands with synthesis, like FF7 Crisis Core. You play 3 separate campaigns, each a little different but in the same worlds. You explore and unfold the stories as Ventas, Terra, and Aqua.

You can play three different characters with three different journeys, but what annoys me is that you have to protect a certain character until it reaches a certain point. Its the reason a stopped playing Kingdom Hearts 2 on PS2. The first one was much better and I wish they had the PSP version of it.

This game is amazing. Great graphics and its like having my old PS2 on the go. Great graphics, music and acting. I am just getting into the meat of the story and it is giving certain answers missing from the series. If you have a PSP you must get this game. Sorry PSP Go...But if you dont have a PSP you should consider it. One of my all-time faves!

BBS is probably the best handheld KH game that we have got so far. It does however, suffer from dumb anime protagonist syndrome. The combat style is fun, and depending on which character youre using has a few different combat styles, although theyre pretty easy to pick up. I suggest you start with Terra, for fans of the PS2 games because hes strength based, so TERRA SMASH is a good playstyle to start out with. Ventus is speed based, and Aqua is of course magic based. The sequencing system of the moves is really fun, but it does require a lot of collecting, standard to any RPG.

What more is there to say? Its Kingdom Hearts! Im unhappy that Square Enix keeps doing small projects for the series instead of working on the third game itself but this is a great prequel to the series and is filled with adorable, heart-wrenching moments Kingdom Hearts has always been known for. Worth playing so do it!

Its alright. The storyline is alright, and the game play is harder than the other games. Youre going to spend a ton of time learning about the battle system and leveling. I dont like the battle system... The link is confusing and not needed. As far as the company who I bought it from? They were excellent. My order never showed up, they had no problem with sending me another copy. They were very nice about the whole situation and replied promptly to my messages.

The latest game in the awesome Kingdom Hearts series, Birth by Sleep is for the PSP and surprisingly awesome! Chronilogically, its the first game in the series, set 10 years before the first Kingdom Hearts games. This means we have a whole new set of people to pay as instead of the usual Sora (or Roxas). BbS actually has three people to play as and thus three storylines to follow, each interconnecting with others. Its gets a bit confusing at points if you take a long break between storylines, but the game gives you a timeline after beating it. You can play as Terra, Ven, or Aqua, and each has their distinct style/strength/weaknesses. Ven fights a little similar to Roxas, his emphasis more on speed. Terra is powerful, but a bit slow. And Aqua is weak at keyblade hits but strong in magic. But the gameplay is excellent. I play most games for story above everything else. KHII and the remake of Chains of Memories were my favourites in the series, but Birth by Sleep has almost take than spot. BbS answers a lot of questions fans of the series have been asking, but also brings more of its own. SLIGHT SPOILERS: I thought Ven would be my favourite due to his resemblance/connection to Roxas, but Terra took the cake. It was easy to pick out that he would one day become Xemnas, but his transformation of a strong warrior trying to do right to almost being tricked into being the bad guy just was WOW. END SPOILERS Its hard to review this game without gushing at its awesomeness, but just go play it. To appreciate the KH storyline better, you have to start at the begininng

Im very pleased I have this game in my hands finally cause Im a die hard Kingdom Hearts and I would wanna collect all of em even if theyre in different platforms. Now if your a Die hard fan to then. This game will fit into your collection I kinda liked the Command deck feature cause it makes customizing more easier. Im glad that the Command Deck Feature is also on Drop Dream Distance.

Birth by sleep takes place before the events of the first game. The scenario revolves around three characters: Terra, Aqua, and ventus. You play as each character and see their point of view of the story such as what they were doing and what happens to them. By beating each story, you can unlock a fourth scenario. There are pros and cons to the game but overall I enjoyed it. The pros to this game is that it is challenging which was good for me because after playing kingdom hearts 2 I thought future titles would be more easier but I was impressed by the tough boss battles. The new battle system is different from the previous titles and it does get annoying that I have to wait a few seconds to cast cure when Im at the point of dying. The story is good but it repeats a lot of scenes which get annoying. I was impressed with the final fight scenes and the appearance of a certain someone from final fantasy 7!! Overall the game is great and any kingdom hearts fan must have this game.
