Im sure itll work great for gaming, but thats not what Im using it for. Im using it to give a new lease on life to a now seven year old Dell laptop. The performance of the laptop is a load faster than with the old style spinny disks. It was trivial to put in and fits perfectly into the caddy. The laptop has never been this fast (And I suspect will never be faster since Ill replace this disk with another like it if I must, or the laptop will reach the end of its life before I have to replace the disk again)

Works as youd expect! Get the size that you need. Easy to install, works wonderfully quick for OS startup and for games loaded on this SSD. Keep in mind that if you are building a gaming PC and get a smaller SSD, you will need a hard disk drive (HDD) to store additional files/games on.
