> 3 dayFast, reliable, no gimmicky migration software. If you have a PC that needs new life, install an SSD and bump your memory to at least 8gb. If you want your PC to be trouble-free, ditch Windows and install the fabulously free Linux Mint 19 (or beyond). You no longer need to be a Linux guru to run Linux. Computing has never been more stable and easier. The Kingston SSD works out of the box. Just install it and consider using zipties if you dont have the brackets. If you want to try Linux Mint, just install it on a USB stick as a bootable .ISO, boot the USB stick and choose the option to install it on your new SSD. You can always blow it away and start over with Windows if youd like. And of course, Mac users can install MacOS just as easily.

Greater than one weekI bought these drives to replace the disc-type (and now old) hard drives in my Dell Mini 1011 net books. While Windows XP is long past being supported (or even usable), these netbooks make great Linux machines (Im using several Ubuntu variants at this point; 18.04 is the last 32-bit OS which is what these netbooks need).
