Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

Bought this for desktop and running the old desktop with Kingston is so much faster. I have a new hp laptop and thought I was upgrading by buying western digital but my liteon and Kingston puts wd in the dust.

I have never formally measured the performance or any of my hardware but anything that is faster than me is fast enough fro me :D I really love the speed of this drive. Windows 10 comes up fully in like 5 seconds!!! I agree you need a great CPU and RAM combination in addition to this great drive but it plays a key role in the overall performance of my computer. Currently I am using this drive as my Windows drive but I would love to have more of these drives for normal storage when the prices go downhill a bit.

I dont have any time to do anything before windows boots anymore. Cant even take a sip of water while I wait.

I updated the old HD of my Lenovo X131 with this SSD. The plus of this SSD is the reduced thickness: pay attention when you want to insert a SSD in a thin laptop. This item has taken its place without any issue in the bay of the old thin HD. I am working not so hardly with this computer, so I can not offer any evaluation of the robustness of the item.

Works very well, it such a huge change for my boot time, Going from almost 5min on my 1tb HHD to this SSD to 1.5min. It’s impressive how fast chrome loads and games as well. Install was super easy on my dell 7779.

I dont do gaming. I dont need a lotta storage. Boot up times dont bother me. All that said, Ive waited way to long to own my first ever SSD drive. If youre here reading this, order the drive. Its fast; its a good amount of storage, and youll purchase more after this.
