I have used this tool in remodeling to try and locate circuits. It has helped me to correct wiring issues and errors. Its a little finnicky, but with a little patience It got me to the correct breaker for the outlets and lights. I used a voltmeter as a backup to verify the power was at the correct value.

I was installing a power monitoring system in my main breaker panel and realized I was not sure which breakers some of my sockets were attached to. The ET3 rapidly and simply answered all those questions and I now know exactly what is using power in my house.

Dont get shocked! Get this tool for easy mapping of breakers when there are no labels. Great if youre renovating an old home.
