Like all circuit tracers, this unit has its accuracy issues. But it does have good sensitivity when searching for breakers. I recommend the accessory pack in that it allows Tracing switches and light fuxtures.

This unit it easy to use. Easy to see if my outlet is working properly is right on. Easy to locate which breaker goes to which outlet. Also no need to remove the breaker panel. I also purchased separately a caring case to protect my investment.

Wow is this a nice tool to have. I always found that most panels are poorly labeled, or a device has been added and is pulling power from somewhere strange. This tool takes out all the guess work and makes jobs way more concise. It never looks good when you have to switch circuits on and off to figure out which ones which. Just plug in the sender to an outlet and touch the tip of the receiver to the breakers until it indicates which one it is. Its surprisingly accurate. Great idea and worth every penny.

After many attempts I kept getting the same breaker for every outlet I tried testing.....

Aveces toca darle reset para q me i dique cual es el breaker del circuito por desenergizar . Aveces es exacto otras no tanto .. aclaro nunca me a detectado el circuito equivocado solo q me toca pasar más de dos veces o darle reset o ir de nuevo al emisor de igual no lo uso con mucha frecuencia .

BEWARE: nowhere in this products description either in amazon, the pkg, or instructions does it state that the circuit has to have power going to it in order for you to find out which CB is controlling it !!! Returned couldn’t use at all.
