> 3 dayIf you are someone that needs a tape measure like this for daily use (construction, etc.), pay a little more for one that will last. This is good for occasional use, but will not last for regular use.

> 3 dayI have tried other self locking tape measures and they cannot compare, easy to use and read. I have never had it jam or crease, unlike craftsman stanley, cobalt, and many others.

> 3 dayIve been using these at work for several years now. The lock is different than most tapes, but I really like it. But the real reason I order these is because no one else at work has a bright green tape measure. Makes it easy to find mine.

> 3 dayI probably have 10 measuring tapes around, someplace, but who knows where they are when you need one. And I needed one for an upcoming project. Decided to get a decent one. Most major brands have a lock that slides down to hold the tape in place, this one does not require you to push anything down to lock it into place, only have to push to retract. It is not quite as fancy as some, does not have metric, but will easily meet my needs for this project.

Greater than one weekwas moving into my new home and needed to do all my measurements because the previous owner was uncontactable and did not provide details on the house. this tape was long enough to measure big space and small spaces. the lock is good, it automatically locks as you pull and the press of one button releases the to automatically withdraw the tape. extremely convenient as you do not need two people for a measuring job. not too sure if it is accurate - did not test that.

> 3 dayBought this mesuring tape for my school, super nice i like that it locks in place as you pull it out and then use the button for a slow release back inside. it is on the bigger side both in size and weight but i dont mind that at all

> 3 dayHave been super reliable and have had my old tapes for seven years or so and finally killed my 25 footer so got the same tape and am sure to be good for seven more years. Woodworking, mechanic, lumber cutting

Greater than one weekI admit Im an amateur at using measuring tape for longer distances, and I should not have pulled this past the redline where it says STOP. That being said, if you do this once and the tape breaks and the mechanism snaps and makes your measuring tape useless after one try, you should not be in the business of making measuring tape anymore. I remember as a child, playing with measuring tape I exceeded that red line many times with more generic products, and I dont remember it breaking until long term wear down and pulling. This felt like itll the tape was attached to a piece of used to dental floss that snapped on a slight tug. The fact that there is no break mechanism and it is so delicate, tells me this product is by definition, planned obsolete.
