> 3 dayI probably have 10 measuring tapes around, someplace, but who knows where they are when you need one. And I needed one for an upcoming project. Decided to get a decent one. Most major brands have a lock that slides down to hold the tape in place, this one does not require you to push anything down to lock it into place, only have to push to retract. It is not quite as fancy as some, does not have metric, but will easily meet my needs for this project.

> 3 dayThis seems to be quality. It certainly feels like it. Weve had one in our office for about two months now and no issues. I certainly dont mind buying more of these to spread around the office at this cost. Far less expensive than my craftsman and still does the job. Every one likes the yellow tape as well.

Greater than one weekKomelon had the 1st process to effectively laminate Teflon to measuring tapes many decades ago. This is a great tape for 30%-50% less than brand/known names, but meets or exceeds their performance. Large numbers, easy to read yellow black tape. Good rigidity when extended. Long lasting, smooth and effective Teflon coating. Moderate weight on the belt for a 25 foot tape indicating good steel thickness overall. Sturdy, easy find fluorescent green case with rubber padding and comfort contours makes for a nice working tape. We replaced our favorite decades-old Komelon measuring tape that a careless friend nicked with a circular saw on a cutting table... highly recommended for price, function, durability and value.

> 3 dayI say for the price this is a decent, 4/5 star, measuring tape. The tape itself is pretty flimsy and gets pretty annoying when the length goes over like 20 inches. Would be a lower score but you get what you pay for. Does the job for measuring household items and areas.

> 3 dayThis measuring tape is super sturdy, large and easy to read, and reasonably priced. Its a bit on the bulky side, but not too bad

> 3 dayThis tap measure is just what I wanted. My last one, different brand , just snapped, so I thought Id have to shell out another 25 bucks for a new one. Came across this Komelon ,and it not only has the self stop feature, but also the retract button that wont smack you in the face. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, for one reason. The hard plastic packaging. There are layers upon layers of this material, and it takes forever to get it off. I needed scissors and a utility knife to get it out. And it was very dangerous, because of the sharp edges from the plastic and tools, could have very easily cut myself. I was thoroughly ticked off by the time I was done. The hardest part was getting the belt clip free, as it is swathed above it, on the sides, and below it where its screwed in place. I cant believe some moron came up with this design, and other morons approved it. There have to be dozens of easier ways to package this tape measure, like maybe a cardboard box, but they picked this one. Theres no way Ill buy another when this one bites the dust, unless they change the packaging. Id rather pay the extra money, than to go through the grief of opening this one.

> 3 dayI use a tape measure constantly throughout the day,and am hooked on the komeleon. Also got exactly what I ordered (not the newer yellow style, which Im not crazy about),with very quick delivery. Probably order a couple more soon. If the little stopper gets dirty it wont stay out as well, but all you have to do is take it apart and clean bottom side of stopper with alcohol and youre good to go. Only tapes I use!

> 3 dayExcellent tape. Love the auto lock feature. Would have given it 5 stars if it had both inch and centimeter reading on it.
