Komelon SL2825 Self Lock 25-Foot Power Tape

This is the best measuring tape Ive ever owned! It self-supports extremely well, and I love the self-locking feature. Get one of these tapes and youll be as satisfied as I am. :)

This stands toe to toe with my stanley tapes. A little weird to get used to the automatic retention when you pull it out though

The tip broke off after only a couple days of use.

I love this style of tape measure which locks automatically. Push button to retract. I have a couple now and these are the only ones I use now.

This tape measure feels very solid, and I really like the self-locking feature. The housing also is not overly bulky while also not feeling flimsy. The one thing I dont like is the color of the tape itself is just downright ugly. I have a 15 foot version of this same tape measure and the tape is a brilliant green which looks great. This one is more like they mixed the green with a standard yellow tape and this is what happened. Thankfully the color doesnt interfere with what is a great tape measure

I’m as surprised as anyone to write this review. Of the dozen or two recent purchases after moving, this has to be one of my favorites. When I selected this measuring tape, given the price, I thought “Eh… I need one now and I’ll get the cheapo one that might work for a year.”

Good to have around as an easy, inexpensive means to any household or apartment measuring needs. Good size. Reliable measurements. Easy to open and close. The snap back works automatically, so not good for little children under 10 especially.
