Its perfect! Auto locks so you aint fighting the thing trying to get a measurement!

does what its supposed to do. My 4year old plays with this as a toy sometimes, and it still has not broken the lock mechanism. That should count for something

I should have looked closer before buying--this measuring tape doesnt show centimeters. Even though almost everything in the US uses inches/feet, centimeters/meters still come in handy sometimes.
