Greater than one weekAfter very little use the tape started to NOT RETRACT. After extending fully the flat wire holding the tape to spindle broke off: useless!

Greater than one weekI bought this for myself as a house-warming present so that I could install shelves and furniture, and it works like a breeze! Always comes back when you push the button, without suddenly snapping back and hitting you in the eye like some older models of measuring tape! A great buy!

> 3 dayThe design was so promising and it’s made of comfortable materials...but the tape ripped after a dozen uses leaving a sharp metal barb that made it difficult to retract and increased my band-aid budget considerably.
