> 3 dayI have patellofemoral syndrome in my left leg that I developed while hiking the White Mountains in New Hampshire. I did a lot of research and PT stretches and found that taping my knee provided the most relief. I not tape my knees before any vigorous physical activity and this tape in particular holds up to the sweat and the rubbing of my hiking pants. I’ve tried other kinesiology tapes, but this brand is the best!

18-11-2024Bought the Pro hoping it would withstand more motion but it really doesnt. In fact, I think the regular KT tape last longer. save money and buy the regular, or even the amazon brand.

21-11-2024I first bought the regular version of KT Tape locally, in black, and I decided I didnt want it to be obvious I was dealing with Repetitive Stress Injury (RSI, a.k.a. Tendonitis) issues. I could not find the skin colored tape locally, hence the reason for purchasing online. So, this review is for the PRO Sports Tape, but comparing it to the Original...two things I find different than the Original: #1, the pretty little dash lines printed on the tape. (They dont seem to serve any function other than looks); #2, the convenient plastic container with double screw-on lids (which makes it easy to toss into a gym bag). I expected the PRO tape to have a stronger elasticity/different fabric than the Original, but they appear to be the same. And for me personally, I was using the box from my first purchase (of the Original) as a dispenser (with a flap folded in). Which, although the box is not durable like the plastic, is much easier to pull off the strips as you need them. One more issue I realized is the same: the length of time wearing it. The Original recommends 1-3 days and the PRO recommends 4-7 days. But regardless of which one you use, once an edge curls up from your skin it wont re-adhere and your clothes will constantly stick to it and peel it away from your skin further. So even the PRO might need to be changed every day. Also, if either style gets wet, they will stick to your skin OK, but if you layer one tape over another they wont bond together anymore. As for removal, expect either version to pull out a few hairs, so expect it to be a little uncomfortable. As of yet I have not tried the Gentle version, which Im assuming would not hurt as much peeling it off. Also note, with repeated use such as needed for tendonitis, your skin may develop a sensitivity to the adhesive and cause a bit of a rash when you take it off.

Greater than one weekThe tape was easy to order and quick to come to the house. I like that the quality was very good. It doesnt peel or loosen at the edges. It was just what we needed for my husbands knees and my back.

> 3 dayI’m not entirely sure how I functioned without KT tape before. This is a wonderful alternative to bulky braces. If you have any adhesive allergy, like me, I highly recommend starting with skin prep, then laying cover roll over the adhesion area, finishing with KT tape. I’m a big believer in preventative practices but when you have an acute injury, this stuff is miraculous. Their website has a thorough list of videos for various tapings that you can adjust for your needs.

> 3 dayI sweat a lot and the tape did not lose any grip. My joints and muscles felt secure and I was able to easily apply the tape with little trouble.
