> 3 dayIve tried several different kinesiology tapes, here are the results of my head-to-head comparisons... In order of stretchiness: KT Tape Pro: Super stretchy spandex-type material. Dries super fast. Breathes excellently even in multiple layers. KT Tape: High-elastic content cotton. Dries reasonably fast. Adequate breathability in multiple layers. Rocktape H2O: High-elastic content cotton. Dries reasonably fast. Adequate breathability in multiple layers. Rocktape: Moderate-elastic content cotton. Takes the longest to dry but thats still fast. Not very breathable, can feel slightly stifling in multiple layers. In order of stickiness: Rocktape H2O: Can be repositioned, and will stick just as well after repositioning. Sticks to tape well. Can be uncomfortable to remove. Rocktape: Can be repositioned, but loses some stickiness each time. Edges tend to peel up. Doesnt stick to tape very well. Okay removal. KT Tape Pro: Can be repositioned, but wont stick for more than a day if you do. Sticks to tape well. Easily removed. KT Tape: Cannot be repositioned, edges tend to peel. Sticks to tape adequately well. Seems more painful to remove than others. In order of longevity: Rocktape H2O: 3+ days. Stays put until you take it off. KT Tape Pro: 2-4 days. Once you get it stuck on, it stays. Less peeling than Rocktape. Rocktape: 2-4 days. Edges tend to peel up on day 2, so youve got to trim it down. KT Tape: 1 day. Edges and entire parts of strips peel up almost immediately. In order of support: Rocktape: Very stable support. Multiple layers offer similar support to a lightly structured brace. Useful for areas where you need a lot of stability like knees and ankles. Rocktape H2O: Stable support. Multiple layers offer similar support to a soft compression brace. Useful for areas where you need both stretch and support, better adhesion and superior stretch offers excellent massage for sore muscles. KT Tape: Moderately stable support. Multiple layers offer similar support to a compression sleeve. KT Tape Pro: Light to moderate support. Multiple layers offer similar support to a soft compression sleeve. Useful for areas where you need flexibility first, particularly well-suited to wrists and fingers.

> 3 dayWhen I got shin splints a few years ago I tried every product that money could buy. After spending well over $100 and getting no relief, I figured Id give KT tape a shot as a last resort, because what could some adhesive fabric tape possibly do to relieve my pain. My God was I impressed, and back up and running a few days later. This stuff really is magic. Ive recommended and given samples out to people over the years who have had variety of different pains and almost all of them have also come to swear by it. Supposedly the magic is that it help with circulation, but however it works, it DOES WORK. They have a great collection of youtube videos for how to do different applications depending on where your pain is. WHY NOT 5 STARS? -- because Ive found that there are other brands that work just as well for a fraction of the price. I thought that the cotton fabric of the other brands (compared to the synthetic fabric of the Pro KT tape) wouldnt adhere or hold up as well, since the cotton regular KT Tape certainly does not, but I was wrong. I think it all comes down to the adhesive. Still a wonderful product, and Ill still buy it, but when I need a bunch Ill go off brand.

> 3 dayAfter tearing a muscle, the doctor suggested this tape to relieve the pain while I healed. Doc was correct! I didnt even notice the tapes were there. Would highly recommend.

> 3 dayOrdered with skepticism. Would it work? Is it hard to use? Would it stay in place? Will it look stupid? I often have a recurring pulled Achilles tendon injury from 30 years ago as a teen playing sports and if youre familiar, keeping my ankle at a right angle with the tendon extended and stable is key. But this time, I had some bones in my foot out of place after mowing outside in the wrong shoes. The bones popped back into place later that day once I soaked it, socked it and put on proper shoes, but my foot was still super sore - then on top of that, I forgot and I plopped down on the sofa with my feet under me to watch a good movie. Ugh! A ganglion cyst formed - like immediately. My poor foot... I was kind of tired of the old-school ace bandages - I have a drawer full. Since Amazon delivers CRAZY FAST, I decided to get the tape. LOVE IT! It works. Is it easy to use (KT has a YouTube video). It stays in place (a little too well, I soak it off in the shower). It looked SUPER COOL! Im a Steelers fan, so I got black and yellow - I looked like a cool high-paid Olympian hurt on the gridiron! (hee hee) Watch the KT YouTube video, start with clean, dry skin and press good and gentle for a good seal. If you want to use moisturizer, apply a small amount and let set for 15-20 minutes first. Wear with socks for a bit to help the seal and maybe while sleeping. If the tape lifts, its a wrap, it will just keep lifting and like tape, fibers on it render it useless. But theres plenty in each pack. I will say that the tape irritated my shin skin terribly (itchy, red, swollen skin) maybe moisturizer after cleaning and drying skin could have helped. I cant do bandage adhesive on my upper chest, face or bend points inside elbows or behind my knees and now - front of shins. :)

> 3 dayI tried the KT Tape a while back for minor issues and really couldnt tell the difference. I threw my back out a month ago, babied it, forgot I had the KT Tape. Back got better very slowly, then finally was all better...until I tried to drag a 50 pound mat. Oops. Back went out and I was back to square one, which meant I could barely walk and sitting and laying down werent too comfy either. I remembered the KT Tape this time, put it on the wrong way, and it still made an instant difference in the pain. I didnt expect it to work as I was walking out of the bathroom right after applying it! Im still using a heating pad and a little ice, but hoping I dont have a 4 week recovery period again, and that I can sit at my desk and work. Thank you KT Tape!

> 3 dayI have suffered from migraines for the past 10 years. A lot of my migraines seem to stem from having a stiff neck. I heard kinesiology tape can be helpful in dealing with these. I am extreamly pleased with my purchase. Since my original purchase,I have purchased 2 more times. I typically use 1 to 2 of the pre cut strips each time, depending on how I choose to apply it that time. They do stay on very well. I shower with them on daily and they typically last me 4 days but I have worn for 5. Depending on where you are applying these they can be difficult to apply. i cut one end of my strip and apply those ends to the base behind my ears and run it behind my neck and down my back. sometimes it doesnt go on very well since I cant see what Im doing and I end up having to start over using a new strip. Like I said It stays on very well, UNLESS you try to move it once its already touched your skin. I have gotten pretty good at applying it but sometimes its just easier to have someone help you with it. I have also used it to help with back pain and applied it on my sister for lower back pain and in all attempts it seems to be effective. I highly recommend doing some research and watching you tube videos on how to apply these as a lot of it deals with pulling the tape during some of the application to get the most benefit out of them. I love all the color choices. I do recommend if you are wearing them during your normal day to get a less noticeable color, as you will get a lot of strange looks and a lot of questions. I am thrilled about trying this product and I will continue purchasing!

Greater than one weekThis product works. I have runners knee on my right, and a bone contusion on my left and it helped with the pain! I purchased this tape to avoid using knee braces after my specialist recommended it. So far it’s helped with supporting my knees and relieving pain. I must admit that once in awhile I still get sudden shocks of pain with the tape on, which is to be expected hence my 5 star rating regardless. Nothing can be perfect. Anyway, it took me awhile to realize but you have to RUB THE TAPE once it’s on your skin so that it sticks properly. Rub it a good ~35seconds but not back and forth, rub it STRICTLY one direction. Otherwise you’re risking the tape peeling off from the edges. Then you have to wait a couple hours before you can do any vigorous activity or else the tape starts wrinkling real bad. Trust me I’m taking with experience. The tape sticks alright in water but it takes its time with drying. Peeling off the tape is surprisingly easy if you don’t rub it in. I am yet to find out how easy it is after actually rubbing it in. If you need 5inch strips from the 10inch just cut it in half and CURVE THE EDGES! If you don’t then the corners will peel. I recommend shaving the area where the tape will be placed because it hurts when it tugs the hairs.

> 3 dayBought: Black precuts To preface, I work with a D1 basketball team and I’m a dancer so that means I shower after practices, treatments, and personal workouts. Cons: The other reviews are kind of untruthful because the tape comes off BUT it will stick right back majority of the time. I sweat perfusely and it was on my foot so it started to come off a bit but once I got dry after my shower and I rubbed it back on, it was stuck again. 2. The application isn’t always easy (if you’re doing it alone) but it will come with time. 3. My main peeve with it is that I got the precut ones. The strips become longer than what I wanted once stretched but I can’t really complain about getting more reach with the tape. Pro 1. Literally everything. I felt like I was walking on a pillow with my ankle and that is my recurrent injury spot 2. It didn’t stop my range of motion on my knee plus it feels like a brace without the limitations of a brace. The tape reminds you that you have an injury because you will feel it stretch as you do certain movements but it won’t hurt nor stop you. 3. After 3 or 4 days, it was still stuck on me. Even the parts that peeled back, were still sticky.

> 3 dayI’ve use this product multiple times in the past. I’ve used the original version as well as the pro. In the past, even the original would last for two or three days as advertised, but the pro, which is supposed to last 4 to 7 days, has not managed to last even overnight. I have used up the entire roll of strips and not one application has lasted overnight for a second day. Part of the time the glue is not sticking to my skin, but part of the time the tape is not sticking to a previous piece of tape. As I’ve said, I have used this product in the past and now how to apply it. After the first time it didn’t stick, I rewatched an application video to make sure I had applied it correctly. I had. I used the right amount of stretch and proceeded to give a friction rub afterwards to help as recommended. It didn’t matter if my skin was freshly washed or completely dry. It didn’t matter if I put lotion on the night before or not. It didn’t matter if I was wearing shorts, capris or jeans (application was on the knees). None of the applications stayed for a second day.
