> 24 hourI used these initially for Christmas cards. I started a journal and am obsessed with these golds. They are beautiful on any paper. (Transforms craft paper). Definitely worth the money.

> 24 hourDarker shades are pretty opaque and the lighter ones are sheer, both are good and serve a purpose! I am very satisfied with their performance and value.

> 24 hourThe pigment itself is pretty good. I’m a beginner so I don’t have anything else to compare it to BUT if you want to venture yourself with some metallic shades and don’t want to splurge then this is a great option. The packaging is pretty bad —it’s cardboard (makes sense for the price) but what I’m not too comfortable with is the huge size of the wells. They are huge and not enough product on them (for such a big presentation). This makes it hard to carry them on a regular palette. Other than that I love them. Sparkly and in my opinion the “copper”-like tone and the darkest gold have a nice coverage to them.

> 24 hourAbsolutely in love with this set. Colors are vibrant and the metallic is among the best Ive used. Keep looking for ways and reasons to use them. Paints beautifully and works well with dip pen too. Would buy again without hesitation.

> 24 hourAlthough the silver isnt exactly perfect visibility wise, the golds are just stunning! Although water color paints, Ive been able to use them on acrylic canvas as well. Stunning colors, works perfectly, and large amounts of each. Exactly what I was hoping for!

> 24 hourThe pans have a variety of golds and almost platinum which are quite lovely. There is even a white glitter choice that can be added to Christmas and winter themes. Absolutely love this set for accenting homemade cards!

> 24 hourI loved these! Ive added swatches of them (theyre the very bottom row of six, the rest on the page are the set of 36 which I highly recommend as well!) so you can see what they look like on paper. The variations between them are very subtle, but one of my favorite things to do is to add them to other colors to add a spark of iridescence. Ive used iridescent watercolor medium in the past, its tricky business trying to get just the right amount where it sparkles but not so much that it turns into a drag show on a Saturday night. My one tiny complaint is the light gold is really transparent; this is the best color to add to others to get that shimmer. White gold does have a bit of titanium white feel to it so it will show through a bit if you layer it over a darker color. The blue gold is... not very blue (the Bluish Gold #91 from the 36 color set is way more blue!) but its warm and pretty, great for accent. If youre looking for a nice set of metallics that wont break the bank and have some actual opacity to them, go for it! Just know that if you already have the 36 color set youll end up with an extra pan of #906 White Gold, but you can always find a use for it!
