Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolors, 48 Colors

I bought these water colors after seeing them used by Kaiteki art on YouTube. I promptly put them on my wishlist and finally bought them. Delivery was fast, and the quality of these paints are just phenomenal!! They are so pigmented and layer well I had never used water color professionally before (I’m married to acrylic and oil paints) but I truly believe I’ve found my new favorite medium. I highly recommend these paints from beginner to professional!!

I saw a painting someone had made on a watercolor site and I asked what paints she had used. I had never heard of this brand but decided to take the plunge. The colors are strong yet water down very well. I just painted a rainbow giraffe for a friend and couldnt believe how colorful it was! Each pan is about 1 inch wide and 2 inches long so you get a great amount of paint. According to a google search, they are also lightfast.

I’m new to watercolor but I really like these. I’m not a fan of water color pencils and the cheap watercolors are not what I wanted either. This is a great next price up option. Will definitely be getting refills for my set. Would be 5 stars if had an option for travel. If the box even tilts they will be all over the floor….

This is my second set of water colors for card making and this is really nice. I like the variety of colors and the intensity. I would recommend.

I used to be a watercolor painter but stopped for many years. I am getting back into it and bought some sets but was not so pleased with them. Got this one yesterday and I am thrilled. The colors are great made with finest ingrediants and a pleasure to work with. No grainy paint. Smooth as butter. I bought a 2nd set to use when these pans run out. The price was so much better than the discount art supply store. Love it and makes me want to paint again.

This paint is very vivid. I you are the type of person that likes to mix paint before use, this is not for you. On the other hand if you are like me and ignored ever college art professor warning about mixing paint on the paper (or letting colors bleed together) this paint is for you. This paint blends very well.

The variety of watercolors are perfect and easy to use.
