> 3 dayArrived with many pans shattered . The paint on the pans is very thin. So disappointing.

> 3 dayAfter my previous pallet went missing I was really looking forward to using this one. The colors looked great, it was huge and even featured metallics. Then I actually tried to use it. The biggest issue is the patchiness. The paper can be completely dry and the second I would attempt to paint over a previously laid down layer all of the watercolor would be picked up by the brush and move around so there was never any solid pigment. The pigment itself is both way to sheer yet way to opaque. The moment I would water down the paint it would become far to sheer to really use and I would have to use layer upon layer in order to attempt to get an even decent color yet due to the previous issues the pigment never became opaque and was just patchy. It’s so unfortunate because not only does the well it’s self look very pretty but it is also pretty expensive. So honestly just look for a better brand with the same color palettes.

> 3 dayI LOVE this set. Such elegance! I got the other sets that have different covers too. Such elegant packaging. You do get more paint in a block too. I bought these especially for the packaging though. I wish the prices were a bit lower... Its a good paint, nice colors, neatly and elegantly packaged. Very Japanese. Paints are a bit sticky but watercolor qualities are there. Opaque sometimes and I like that... Most colors are earthy. Not the super vivid bright type (maybe some of the reds are), which is perfectly okay because the colors are super nice. My only complaint is the price. I wish prices prices were slightly lower...

> 3 dayWith 48 colors, I have lots to choose from, and I love their vibrancy and smoothness. That said, these paints are very different from Western-made paints. They pretty much stay on the surface unless used with copious amounts of water. Even then, any of the desired watercolor bloom is quite limited. They almost act like a gouache. I just got them, so I dont know, overall, how Ill wind up using them, since I prefer the action of the more familiar translucent paints. If you like opaque, you should love these...they go on like satin!
