> 24 hourI was so excited to get the set of paint. Quick service but poor quality because I got a used set. It had splatter marks and some of the paint has been used too on serval pans. I hope my replacement is better. It wasn’t sealed either, so it was a red flag it has been used. It’s missing the big chart card to fill in the colors too. UPDATE! I got a brand new set and it’s in wonderful condition! Thank you for replacing it Amazon!

> 24 hourJapanese watercolors are different from the rest of the world. These paints never dry leaving harsh lines (barely any granulation), making this set perfect for beginners and professionals alike. Take a peek at the pictures Ive uploaded & and see if you can tell the difference in which paintings I used the Kuretake brand versus European brands. There are only three. Scroll down to see which: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1. The slender house. 2. The girl with the red hat walking her dog down the snowy path 3. The little birdie that just landed on the branch (*framed) Did you guess right?

> 24 hourBlack Paper: I got this set specifically bc it is advertised for use on black paper. (See attached photos.) For the test, the brush was loaded and first used on black paper with the remaining color used on white swatch page. Only 1 load & coat applied on both swatches. The darker colors could possibly be built up in layers to become more prominent. General: Colors are nice, quick to load with little water, dry very close to the pan color, most easily opaque or washed, leaves fewer dry lines than other brands & the 46pk has a wide selection including a few metallics. I especially like the numbers on bottom to keep everything organized. Cons: my box arrived terribly warped & wont lay flat causing storage problems. Some colors are easier to lighten than others. While it advertises it doesnt leave a dry line, some colors do.

> 24 hourI’m new to watercolor but I really like these. I’m not a fan of water color pencils and the cheap watercolors are not what I wanted either. This is a great next price up option. Will definitely be getting refills for my set. Would be 5 stars if had an option for travel. If the box even tilts they will be all over the floor….

> 24 hourVery impressed with this pallet! As a beginner I don’t have much experience but I was using cheaper liquid paints before and was looking for an intermediate quality that was affordable. I am very satisfied and now that I have started using better brushes (Princeton heritage) and paper (arches cold press) I am loving the results!!!
