This product is genius! I try and eat a very clean and healthy diet for myself and my baby but I’m not perfect. This test showed me where I am a bit deficient and now I can focus on incorporating other foods into my diet. I love it!! I wouldn’t have known any other way and was kinda shocked by some of the results. Highly recommend and would buy to test again in a few months to see if they’ve improved.

Im blown away. I knew what this test would do, but seeing your personal results really solidified the value of this test. I recently became vegetarian and this test served as a reminder to be more intentional about my protein and certain vitamin intake. Really loved this.

This test is straight forward and easy to use, the recommendations with the results are very insightful and feel personal. I am a vegetarian and was curious to see if my breastmilk was running low on anything, while I am mostly pleased with my results, I was lacking in some areas. I am glad a test like this this is available to the public. I highly recommend this test.

For a scared mom who has a hipolalergic baby with a crazy diet I have doubted my milk and its power. I took the test and surprise surprise my milk is even better than formula. Also, very important it gave me all the information about the lacking vitamins in it. I do recommend for anyone who want a piece of mind!

I eat a nutritious and balanced diet but I have malabsorption and was worried about the quality of my milk. I was happy to find that milk testing is possible and very easy to do. Everything was simple and straightforward as far as doing the test. Dr. Canale assured me that the overall quality of my milk was good but I was actually sad to find that my malabsorption is affecting my milk to some degree. But that is something I needed to know for my babys sake. I have been taking the additional supplements that were reccomended as well as a few others that my doctor reccomended when I brought the results in to him. After doing the retest the vitamin A in my milk is now at a healthy level so that was good to see. The calcium is still optimal and that was reassuring. But some of the other vitamins had gotten lower in spite of supplementing. So I am following up with my doctor for additional help in making sure my baby and I get the nutrients we need. As we get him more and more nutrients he is tending to sleep better most nights and he continues to thrive. Although overall my baby was thriving and my health is fairly good this did teach me some things about my health and my baby and I are doing better as a result. Additionally my baby has benign sleep jerks that had become worse. An EEG confirmed that they are not seizure related. We have found that even though they are still present, they are improving significantly as we increase his nutrition. I am very happy to have gotten my milk tested even though my test results were less than perfect, because in my case it opened my eyes to potential nutritional deficiencies and hopefully before they caused a major issue for my baby. Im also glad that I got the retest because it let me know that some things had improved whereas other areas still needed some tweaking. I would highly reccomend getting the nutritional content of your milk tested if you can and lactation lab makes it simple. I would love to see them test for more vitamins. This is a very nice service to breastfeeding moms!

Loved the kit. It was great to get personalized report on our milk nutrition and suggestions for supplements or food to improve certain areas. I was impressed by the speed too I believe I got my report in less than a week since I shipped the sample.

I have a bachelors in nutrition so when my sons pediatrician suggested my breast milk might not have enough calories I went on a search. Lactation lab has approval by the FDA as a breakthrough device for testing breast milk. I was thrilled to get the box which was easy to use and mail out. This product/ service is so well-designed, I couldn’t have created something better myself! We have been having weight gain issues with my 4 mo old, my husband and I actually googled this bc we were talking about how cool it would be if a company like this existed and sure enough, here it is! Exactly how we would have designed it too! It’s so easy to use and offers such great peace of mind! Always fun to be blamed as a mom, right? I was able to see that my milk was in fact the appropriate level of kcals. I was also able to find out about vitamins and minerals and I did make some changes with my diet and vitamins accordingly.
