Used this 3 inch Lake Country backing plate on my Porter Cable 7424xp. Great for small areas and headlight resoration.

I never polished my car since the purchase 10 years ago, and the paint was faded and yellowish looking. this along with the pads I got did an excellent job! I will get the 3 just in case.

A great pad

I purchased this backing plate for my pc. It was shipped by Bigfly sporting goods but received some generic looking plate nothing like pics shown no adapter to screw on to the polisher only a rubber plate with a larger threaded hole.

Works better that the original Porter Cable plate

Didnt like it. Wobbles bad tried to use it but got Annoying. A company well know as lake country and their products should have better quality control on their products. Now i need to wait for a replacement hopefully the new one doesnt wobble

The perfect 5 hook and loop (Velcro) backing plate for a Porter Cable 7242XP DA polisher. No problems at all. Highly recommended.

These plates are the best deal out there. The Velcro works with my California pads. You need the flexibility of urethane backing pads when polishing. The flex lessens the chances of burning paint when high speed buffing.
