So far, so good. At the very least the item matches the description.

Seems pretty good. 6” is pretty big though, so I got a 3” too. That’s just personal. The hook and loop is VERY strong.

I bought this for my Porter-Cable to turn it into a 3 inch polisher because it does not have the power for a 6in pad. And this fits and works perfectly with no washer mods at all. I have used it several times in the short amount of time that Ive had it and no issues whatsoever.

My original backing plate for my Porter Cable dual action polisher began falling apart after many years of service. Many of my polishing pads are from Lake Country, and have liked their products, so it was an easy choice. This is a direct replacement on my Porter Cable 7424, and within 5 minutes, it was installed. More flexible than my original pad which make it more maneuverable when working on curved panels.

Great for the money works great and no heat issues like some. They hold together well and the backing holds the pads really good.

Exactly what I need to replace my worn out one. This one is built even better and works like a charm. My old one stripped the threads and I was concerned that a new one might require re-tapping them. Not a problem. Fit snug and true and should last another several years.

Used this 3 inch Lake Country backing plate on my Porter Cable 7424xp. Great for small areas and headlight resoration.
