I bought this fan at the beginning of May and it worked for less then 4 months. It developed and grinding/scrapping sound that is so loud and worrisome that it renders it borderline unusable. I reached out to Lasko directly via their website requesting assistance a week ago and have received no response. Im guessing that I purchased at defective one, given the generally positive reviews, and I was happy enough with the fan while it worked. I am hoping that the company will notice this review and reach out to resolve my issue. Edit: While I wont claim that they were fast, I will say that Laskos customer service did make my situation right. They sent a complete replacement after I answered some questions. The replacement fan seems to work fine, so I am reasonably satisfied with the result. Updating the review to a 4 out of 5 since the fan still broke and the issue took a decent amount of time to resolve.

The fan is durable and blows a lot of air. Wife loves it. Uses it in her 12 ft. Yard camper.

i love this fan only down side is cleaning it collects lots of dust and it does slow the fan over time took me about 2 hrs. to clean it out and it worked great again

I like its compact design, focused air flow, and ease at which that air flow can be directed. I bought it for indoor cycling. It has noticeably more noise than a failing pedestal fan I have. Its a good fan and will work well in warm months when I need to move air from room to room in my basement (its how I help control humidity).

This fan is worth it. I am so impressed by the temperature of the air that comes out of this. Perfect for treadmills in garages or hot days on the porch. I might buy another one!

I didn’t use my ac at all. This fan is fantastic for moving hot air out of my apartment. I will be purchasing another for double the power!

This is the coolest fan and it really puts out cool air. I love how you can adjust it up or down and also it has 2 plug ins on the side. I use it at home, in our camper, and it’s perfect to defrost your freezer. I will be buying another one for sure. Thank you Amazon

Ive run this thing 24/7 for over a year now. Not a single issue. Great purchase. Update: it’s been a few years now, still running strong. The brushes need replaced, but that’s normal for a brushed motor.

Ive had two of these for going on 4 years now. The amount of air movement is just incredible, noise level is tolerable, no more noisier than they were 4 years ago and the extra 2 outlets is an added bonus. Posted both on either end of the home and on medium speed on a blistering day, will cool the house a good 6 degrees on the comfortable side where most fans fail. I like the low profile compared to the larger or pole mounted fans. If you have concerns about dust, adding a thin screen or filter to both sides works extremely well. The low amperage allows these to be use with most smart outlets too. I have one connected to a 110v wireless outlet temperature controller to circulate heat during the winter to keep things even as I only use electric or a bio-ethanol fireplace to heat one half of the house. As far as Im concerned, for the price, these are worth there weight in gold and out perform all other fans Ive seen thru the years. One of the few purchases Im actually proud of and couldnt live without now that Ive used them. Most certainly would purchase again, but I dont see these well built monster fans breaking any time soon. You will definitely love this air moving gem and toss out all other fans without looking back.

I am blown away by the Lasko High Velocity Pro-Performance Pivoting Utility Fan! This fan is a powerhouse, creating a strong and consistent breeze thatll keep you cool even on the sweatiest and hottest of days. The pivoting feature allows me to direct the air flow exactly where I need it, making it perfect for both personal use and larger spaces. While we wish it could oscillate on its own, this fan is not designed for that and still packs a powerful punch- its just so perfect I wish we could take this design and combine it with a self oscillating one. Even though its small, you wont believe how strong the wind is at all three power levels. Plus, with the ability to rotate in any direction with just a little push, this fan is perfect for gyms, homes or anywhere you need a quick cool down. I highly recommend this fan to anyone in need of a reliable and effective cooling solution!
