Greater than one weekI now buy these blowers instead of fans because I get cooled off so much faster with these powerful blowers. This is my second one, little larger than my other one. They circulate more air faster and with more force.

> 3 dayIve run this thing 24/7 for over a year now. Not a single issue. Great purchase. Update: it’s been a few years now, still running strong. The brushes need replaced, but that’s normal for a brushed motor.

> 3 dayNeed to cool off quick, this fan will do it. It is literally 10-15 degrees cooler standing behind this fan when it’s on than not. It is like turning on instant air conditioning. The power outlet on the side has come in handy to charge up batteries and misc. items. It is very quiet and a must have as a DJ.

> 3 dayI love this fan! It moves a lot of air, its reasonably quiet, and its very portable! It saves money on air conditioning costs! I can put it on a table, a desk, a floor... and even on top of a mattress. I received my first Lasko fan three days ago. Today I ordered a second one- and Ill probably order a third!

> 3 dayI recently joined a band that does a lot of outdoor shows. We had one a month ago that was actually indoors that was hot. I mean I had to change shirts between sets kind of hot. The lead singer suggested I get a fan like they all had. My previous band played outdoors, but not quite as often as this new band. I bought this fan just before an outdoor show that I knew was going to be a hot one. I set up the fan at the front of the stage (from the audience view it almost looks like a monitor) and I didnt want to move from the front of that fan. It was moving air to the point it almost felt like air conditioning! It was on the middle setting (2) and it performed perfectly. I know this application wont be something that everyone can relate to, but it really performed well and I would recommend this if you need a high powered good fan.

> 3 dayI like its compact design, focused air flow, and ease at which that air flow can be directed. I bought it for indoor cycling. It has noticeably more noise than a failing pedestal fan I have. Its a good fan and will work well in warm months when I need to move air from room to room in my basement (its how I help control humidity).

> 3 dayI bought this fan at the beginning of May and it worked for less then 4 months. It developed and grinding/scrapping sound that is so loud and worrisome that it renders it borderline unusable. I reached out to Lasko directly via their website requesting assistance a week ago and have received no response. Im guessing that I purchased at defective one, given the generally positive reviews, and I was happy enough with the fan while it worked. I am hoping that the company will notice this review and reach out to resolve my issue. Edit: While I wont claim that they were fast, I will say that Laskos customer service did make my situation right. They sent a complete replacement after I answered some questions. The replacement fan seems to work fine, so I am reasonably satisfied with the result. Updating the review to a 4 out of 5 since the fan still broke and the issue took a decent amount of time to resolve.

Greater than one weekI didn’t use my ac at all. This fan is fantastic for moving hot air out of my apartment. I will be purchasing another for double the power!
