Greater than one weekI purchased this in the summer because we were having a party. It kept everybody very hard at all and in 90° heat. Are used it when my kitchen sink decided to have a leak and let normally would probably take a couple of days. It only took 24 hours along with my humidifier. It’s great just to turn on and move the air in the house well worth the money

> 3 dayI use this fan when rowing on an ergometer in my basement. It does a great job of keeping me from getting too hot. It has definitely improved my workouts.

> 3 dayI bought three Lasko four years ago of the same type only a little Larger. They are still working but need blown out and cleaned. The only thing I have against them is the have two type of screws one Phillips head and a specialty head screw driver. I wished they were all Phillips which would be easier to clean. Otherwise they work far better than regular window or floor fans and cheaper in time as you wont need to replace them as often. Once I blow out the other 3 I will have a fan in every room. I plan of getting two more for the covered patio to stay cool out side as well.

> 3 dayIve run this thing 24/7 for over a year now. Not a single issue. Great purchase. Update: it’s been a few years now, still running strong. The brushes need replaced, but that’s normal for a brushed motor.

> 3 dayThis lasko fan cools the house, really well. Kind of noisy. But easy to move around. Would recommend.

> 3 dayI’ve only had this for a day so I cannot speak to the longevity of this unit. However, I needed a fan that would really move some air and not be in the way, this unit is exactly the one I wanted. The air is very directional, as would be expected with this kind of fan, but it’s definitely moving it. I can see this being great for someone that wants direct airflow at a desk or other stationary activity. As for the sound, which was my main concern, it measures at 66db if I put my watch right next to the unit, which is pretty good. The sound it makes is actually very smooth like a white noise machine. Note: it does use a 3 prong plug for anyone that may be in older construction.

> 3 dayAmazingly effective for its size, this low-footprint fan manages to circulate an entire 1400-1900 sqft even on its lowest setting. Weve stationed ours at the bottom of the basement stairs, pushing all the cool air back up to the main level, and its helped immensely in keeping our cooling costs down. Its size and adjustability allow it to easily sit out of the way of foot traffic. Its difficult to feel or hear a difference between all the power levels, but it works well and is quiet enough to still easily have a conversation around. We have yet to use any of the power outlets.
