> 3 dayMy laptop broke so I needed another one. I purchased this computer because it received a consumer reports best buy. It has been a great laptop. It has a great battery life, is very fast, and I love the tablet feature. I use the computer for my basic computing needs and it exceeded expectations.

> 3 dayLaptop was advertised as new but arrived in a Lenovo box with a broken seal and a user account already set up. The return process took about three weeks from the time I shipped it back until the refund was issued.

> 3 dayWorked fine just long enough for the return window to close, then wifi connection disappeared. Everything is updated and wireless adapter has been replaced, but issues persist. Lenovo customer service is a nightmare. Looks like a $630 lemon to me...

> 3 dayIm very happy with this laptop so far. Its classy looking, light, has a great-quality touchscreen, light up keyboard, etc. Its awesome except for the fact that the battery life is bad and not even close to how its described in the product description. Its not terrible, but Im feeling let down. I got this computer for work and home, and my office has outlets far away from my desk so I was hoping this laptop would take me through an entire work day on one charge. Based on the battery performance so far thats not going to happen. It was at 95% at 10:00 a.m. Its a little after 1:00 pm now and battery is at 43%. Id turn the brightness down to save battery, but the other issue with this laptop is that the brightness isnt great once you get below the highest setting. Ill update this review if needed once Ive used it more.

> 3 dayI got this computer as a present. Within 30 days of me using it, it turned off and would not turn back on. I was 4 days outside of my warranty so Lenovo wouldnt send me another computer. I had to spend an entire day on the phone with customer support and running around to buy things to fix the computer that was obviously defective in the first place. When we got it up and running again 8 hours later, I was told the problem would never happen again. Two months later the same thing. This time the lady that helped me had a much quicker solution to the problem but there was obviously still something wrong with my still very new computer. Despite the problem now happening twice, I was given nothing for my time or troubles. The third time it happened, I was put on the phone with a manager who still wouldnt replace it but spent a half hour trying to sell me an extended warranty so they could continue wasting my time making me fix my own faulty computer every two months when it breaks again. Either this is a horrible product built to last just until your warranty is up, or I ended up with a defective computer. Either way, be prepared to hold your breath every time you need to use your computer because it may or may not work and Lenovo could not be bothered to help in any real way.

> 3 dayThis laptop is an amazing value. It is super speedy, has a great display and very comfortable keys and track pad. I use it to VPN into my work computer and it works flawlessly. However, my one-star demotion is because the design concept for the keys is maddening! The lettering is super faint. The keys are (weakly) backlit, but when viewing the keyboard at any amount of angle, the lettering basically disappears. I am a fast touch-typist, and there is the typical orientation bump on the keyboard, but I still find myself squinting and craning my neck at the keyboard, especially when using symbols or F Keys. I tried using appliqued letters, but the feel was annoying. It is a shame that such a high-performing computer would have such a serious flaw, which seems like it would have been so easy to rectify.
