It works but not like a basic laptop. Cannot right click mouse, has very minimal options, different download method than Im use to. Great tablet/ chrome book for kids.

I got my device for $200 (normal $300) on Black Friday. It has nice touchscreen, keyboard, touchpad, and type-C, USB 3.0, HDMI, blue-tooth, audio jack. Screen resolution is low but you cannot expect too much for a $200 device.

Has everything my daughter needs for school and downtime!

Great Chromebook! I bought three of these. Two for my parents for Christmad and then one for myself! I am very pleased with screen quality and ease of use. I wanted the safety of a Chromebook. Very pleased so far. Battery life is amazing.

I just got this laptop, I meant it to be used for college work so I signed in with my college email first (becomes the “owner account”). I was disappointed to see that like other comments had said, Google Play Store was nowhere to be found and wouldn’t let me enable it even after fully updating. I had a hunch after reading something about “managed accounts” so I went to “Powerwash” aka reset my whole computer, and I happened to see “managed by collegename.edu” below Google Play settings, and when I signed in with a different account, boom, I automatically had Google Play Store. This laptop is 100% compatible with the Google Play Store, if you are having issues, sign in with a different Google account that has @gmail/yahoo/hotmail on the end and doesn’t have any add-ons like student or edu. Not to say that you cannot still do individual things with your work/school account, you just cannot have the account set as the “owner” account. I’m so glad I figured this out because this is one of the nicest low end chrome books I’ve ever seen. The screen is beautiful quality and so is the keyboard, the touchpad isn’t bad (but it’s not great, a lot of PCs struggle with this so I think it’s a necessary sacrifice when it is so cheap, but just letting everyone know, the touchpad does stutter and isn’t completely smooth). I think this is a steal for the price so don’t be led astray to think that this doesn’t work with Google Play, it does!

Supply and Demand - got a love the times we are in - this company made a killing off of this product!. Considering we purchased the same computer in the spring for $220ish With that being said - the computer is the same as the other, packaged and sealed properly, easy to operate, shipped quickly. No issues - best of luck to the other parents out there scribbling to obtain proper systems for your kiddos this school year!

I bought this laptop in 2019 for the purpose of lasting me until I graduate college or when I buy a better one in general. If your laptop needs are homework, essays, and web browsing, this is the laptop for you. It definitely has done me well throughout the years, I have all my notes and papers on google drive and it is enough for me to do quizzes and tests through my schools platform. The only negative I would say is that it handles Zoom poorly. Sometimes CPU usage is too high when Im taking notes on google doc simultaneously being on Zoom, then the video starts to glitch out. Otherwise, if youre just using it for schoolwork, then its a great computer.

I noticed that I was hardly ever using my desktop and always on my phone and decided to purchase this instead. Just about anything I do on a computer is online anyway. I do basic online genealogy, social networking, shopping, research, and a few simple games on this chromebook. Works great for all. I love that I can use it either as a laptop or tablet. I also like to fold it backwards to prop it upright on my body while laying down in bed to play games. My granddaughter also uses it when she visits to watch YouTube. I need to get one for my husband...

Loved my old Acer chromebook. While this didnt end up feeling like a big upgrade, it was still relatively fast, smooth, and easy to use. The touch screen and tablet option was a nice addition too. No crashes after several months of basically daily internet use.
