> 3 dayWe bought 2 of these for kids for Christmas. One had an older Dell laptop that couldnt play many of the games she wanted, and had a failing fan. The other kid gamed on a desktop PC custom built a few years ago. This laptop doesnt have the best graphics card, but it still bench-marked 433% higher than the Nvidia card in the old desktop, so its been great for that kid! haha He was so happy to see how much faster Warframe loaded, but could really use a 1tb SSD. The 256gb just isnt enough. A few 30+gb Steam games and its time to cleanup old ones just so updates will install. It does have an option to install a 2.5 inch SSD for additional storage though.

> 3 dayUsing it for gaming but 5 days after the possible return date, the screen started flickering non-stop. Amazon wont help with a return even though its only 5 days past the return date. Get something better if you can afford it. Itll be worth skipping the hassle.

Greater than one weekPerfect pc to bomb around on. Low budget and great quality. I highly recommend adding another 8g of ram for $45 and another 1tb or more m.2 for around $100. Solid machine runs everything on mid specs. Does not compare to my MSI CUK gaming pc, but it’s everything I wanted to take with me wherever. The windows 10 version is the same.. free download to 11

Greater than one weekWhen I first had my Nitro 5, there was a lot I loved about. It could reach 120fps and was decent for most of my games. I loved it. But when I had to upgrade, I genuinely didnt want to spend too much as a working student. I did a lot of research and yes, the top brands of ACER , ASUS, HP, ALIEN they had great laptops obviously. But finding this one was a god sent. I can clock out at 240fps on most of my games. The upgrades to 16gb RAM and to add my HYBRID drive was flawlessly easy. The design is very sleek, mint fresh and effortlessly classy and simple. In fact, it stays well hidden as a gaming laptop. Its lightweight and easily portable for travel as a student compared to the 7lbs most gaming pcs start with.

> 3 dayI have had it a few days and I like it. Its hefty and reminds me of one of the old ibm laptops, and easy to work on and despite what the lenovo rep says YOU DO NOT need a licensed tech to upgrade the paltry amount of memory, just a screwdriver, a little patience, and 10 minutes of your time to take off the cover of the laptop, and the cover off the memory. The drive is a different matter, it uses a very small and expensive 2242 nvme drive, there is a full size nvme slot but no standoff to screw it into, and it looks like if you put in the full size nvme you will not be able to use the 2.5 in drive slot, I will update when I get more into it.
