11-01-2025I bought this Oct 26 2021 its April 14 2022 and I only have a black screen. Call Amazon, they dont care. I would not recommend buying a computer from Amazon or Lenovo. Second Lenovo to have serious issues. Thanks Amazon for selling junk and not offering any warranty.

> 3 dayI got this for my 12 year old. This is our first gaming laptop. From our experience, its a good beginners laptop for gaming. It is on the lower end price wise, for gaming laptops. I find its comparable to other brands with similar specs. If you are a hardcore gamer, I would say this might not be the one for you. This handles gaming and videos well, but I dont think itll be delivering the amount of content in high quality for more advanced games. My sons games that dont require large amounts of data or high resolution for playing. This provides the speed and graphics he needs, but also allows for quick access for homework and research. Keyboard lights up nicely, and makes it easy to identify keys in the dark, when he plays games. Key strokes are light and responsive. Its very user friendly and settings allow to customize parental controls. Battery life is decent. He keeps it on his desk most of the time, so hes always within reach of a power source, but Id imagine gaming drains the battery a little quicker than just browsing internet. He likes setting it up for watching movies and hasnt had any issues. This can more than handle what he needs it for and his gaming. More experienced and advanced gamers, might be wanting more. Storage might need to be expanded, depending on use, so whether you upgrade laptop or use external harddrive, might be something to consider when pricing and comparing.

> 3 day2-Week Review: This laptop is everything I hoped it would be for the price. Im using it for gaming, 1080p video editing, and watching movies. Its wicked fast compared to the 6 year old Dell business laptop I was using before. I added a 1TB nvme drive and an extra stick of 3300MHZ ram for a total of 16GB. Opening the case was fairly easy but it would be nice to have a simple switch you can slide that would unlock the bottom part of the case, instead of having to pry it open.

> 3 dayFirstly, the bios for this thing is literally a joke. There is no real co figuration for the bios and it’s basically a GUI that lays over the real bios to keep you from doing anything. Secondly, it does not support any m.2 storage devices other than the microscopic one that comes installed. The laptop has almost no ability to recognize external devices, my 600$ custom keyboard just doesn’t exist to this laptop at all. But my busted razed mouse connected and worked properly within a millisecond. This thing is a joke for hardware compatibility and software interface. But aside from the nightmare of that stuff, it’s pretty solid and I will be extensively pushing this thing to update my review later on it’s gaming capabilities

> 3 dayit allows 1 extra monitor via HDMI. make sure to go to AMD support and download the Radeon Software. its not included by Lenovo. the Radeon software will automatically optimize the graphics card. it also allows you to tweak the displays and GPU settings. theres a Setting in Display called Virtual Super Resolution that sharpens the display on a large connected screen. i had display fuzziness on the second screen (24 monitor) until i installed the Radeon Software.

> 3 dayI am not a huge gamer, Ive dabbled in the past with pc gaming, and liked it much better than console gaming. I recently got the itch to do some pc gaming again at 47, and wow have things changed! I started pc gaming with Battlefield vietnam, 1942 and 1917, I, being a star wars fan, purchased the deluxe edition of SW Battlefront, and this pc plays it seamlessly, no lag. Idk what FPS im running but my settings are set high, the graphics are great! I also purchased Forza 4 Horizons and initially thought i was not going to be able to run it, but no problems after a few settings changes. this pc does not give you a whole lot of storage space for many games, and can slow the processor down, so I highly recommend a 1tb external HD. I stored all my games on there, instead of the pc. this is also upgradable from within, and plan on doing so soon. overall, i am very happy with the purchase.
