> 3 dayHardwired infrastructure in vacation home. Connected to a big UPS and have a whole house lightning protector in the circuit breaker box. Security system, with video is connected to it. UPS-POE lets my remote cameras work even if the power is out. Mounted it on the wall. There is a wireless connection also, but I dont trust it, there are hundreds of wireless signals nearby. Hardwire rules both for security and throughput. Ive had these in all my residences. I run the CAT6 myself and terminate the cables. Never looked back. It works and I just dont worry about it.

> 3 dayGets the job done. Needed a splitter to network my four computers in my loft area. Had I not been so hasty to purchase I probably would have gotten the comparable model TP-Link for half the price, but Linksys products have always been good to me, and Im sure it will be in use for years to come. Setup was obviously quite easy: plug in the power adaptor and plug in ethernet cables. It doesnt get much simpler than that. Tested and is running at full gigabit speeds and it is nice to have all my machines in the room hard-lined and networked to each other for fast file transfers. Would I buy again? probably not, Id get the TP-Link for $15 since just looking for a simple 5-port switch, but I dont regret the purchase and wont be returning for the $15 I could save... next time though, will opt for the cheaper option unless its part of my critical network infrastructure.

> 3 dayI’ve used these Linksys switches before in my work business and at home and they’re pretty stable and solid. Delivery was prompt and packaging was sufficient.

Greater than one weekWorks great on 400+ foot long lan cables-still reaches 1gbps; Takes 10 seconds or so to initiate an uplink unlike the Trendnet Greens I was using which was instant, soon as it was plugged in. Power plugin is a little stiff and tight so its not nearly as easy and convenient to plug and unplug at will like the Trendnet Greens, would have been nice to have a button to turn it off quickly. Other than that Id say its probably one of the best you can find for the money! Great little item, feels incredibly solid, with its all metal exterior, and feels very heavy for its size.

Greater than one weekI love Linksys products for the quality and support they offer. I used this SE3008 switch to replace a 5 port hub in my network, and it works GREAT. Make sure you restart any active lan devices that interact with this device when installing and you will love it.

> 3 dayWorks as described. Wish the connections were in the back and lights in the front, but no big deal. Utility is more important than aesthetics.

> 3 dayMy router had ports that were capped. But after installing the switch it opened up the port and allow me to use my full bandwidth for gaming. No more lagging or getting kicked out of the server.

> 3 dayI got this because even though my wifi works well, its nice to have some things hardwired. When I switched to a mesh wifi, I lost all the spaces my old router had for ethernet. This solves that problem. Came as described and plugged right in.
