Great for use as a sealer for mixed media art.

The product is all that I wanted. It applies smoothly,dries quickly and is clear. I will probably never buy the non-clear type again. No odor,washes from my brush with warm water .Love it!

I use it to paint on Masonite boards to prepare the surface for my oil paintings. It has been a delight to work with and covers the surface well enough to paint on after 3-4 coats (personal preference, Im sure I could paint after 2 coats, but I prefer to really cover the surface as I sand it after my final coating).

This is probably the best clear gesso on the market, and the price reflects it... Still cheaper than the local stores, I feel bad for not keeping it local, but for bulk items like this, I dont mind...

Gesso is used to make acrylic paint spread easier.
