Liquitex Professional Gesso Surface Prep Medium, 3.78L (128-oz), Clear

This is much thicker than I was expecting and probably wont order again. There is another one that is not as liquid as whats in the bottle and this. I use gesso for my whites and to prep my canvases. This is okay, but the mid-range is easier to work with.

I love using this gesso to cover the writing lines on the pages of my composition book turned into an art journal and I’m thrilled to have received it so quickly. This gesso allows me to resurface the thin pages of my basic composition book so I can add art over the gessoed pages that can now handle almost any art medium I throw at it.

Gesso gave the surface a grade “grip” to the canvas I was painting on.

Clear gesso is great for adding texture for adding more layers of paint without covering up your previous work. Excellent quality. Very happy.
