> 24 hourCompared to the G400s that I had previously, the coating felt garbage on the mx518 legendary and the mouse overall felt a lot cheaper compared to the G400s. The cable was too thin to use in my zowie bungie so that made it even more annoying.

> 24 hourWas excited to upgrade my daily. Went to plug in and its literally DOA. Not recognized by windows or mac, not in device manager, etc. Tried all the software etc. Not recognized at ALL, not in device manager, no sound, nothing... Upon further investigation, as shown in another review, this is a counterfit. Box SN is covered up by random sticker. Original sticker shows a different serial number than on the mouse. Could not be more upset. BUYER BEWARE!!! Too good to be true.

> 24 houri bought it because the dog of my friend made a vase fall on my original MX 518 . i bought a G Pro but i liked my original MX 518 better ( better grip and overall use).So that is why i bought this remake. It is a very good mouse but i like the original MX518 more. This remake feels different( read for me less good). Nevertheless in my opinion one of the best mice you can buy nowadays

> 24 hourThe G on the mouse started losing its shiny color after a week and now the paint has peeled off around the G logo after a month of use. I was hoping this would be a replacement for my G502 but it seems I might have to try something other than logitech for my next mouse.

> 24 hourPro: Nostalgia. Con: Unlike its original debut, MX518 is no longer a winner in ergonomic since all the mice ranging from $10 to $100 follow similar design. The new MX518 is true to its original design where scrolling wheel only has the clicky mode. I really wanted the switch between clicky and smooth/silent mode on the wheel cause the scrolling on this MX518 makes such loud noise. Overall impression: I would probably go back to a later version of logitech mouse or even a $20 cheap brand one, for the added functionalities. Unless you are an older generation of gamer looking for that old feeling, this mouse is not the best choice for the price.
