Great mouse but package had been broken into. think someone within the post was fishing for a phone or something.

The G on the mouse started losing its shiny color after a week and now the paint has peeled off around the G logo after a month of use. I was hoping this would be a replacement for my G502 but it seems I might have to try something other than logitech for my next mouse.

The buttons and scroll wheel feels cheap compared to the old version.

This mouse is exactly what I paid for, great quality, I love the way it molds to your hand, and overall is easy to handle.

I had used a MX 518 as my primary mouse for many years. It finally broke and I was disappointed to find it was no longer made. I tried a few others but was never happy with them. I was skeptical when this was reissued. I figured it was just a cheaper knock off. It does seem to have been cost reduced some, and it is cheaper then the original. But I like it. It works well and it is fast. I had to slow it down. If you were a fan of the original, you will find this a acceptable replacement. Update: I have noticed there has been a large price increase for this mouse. At the current price it’s is much less of a deal. If I was in the market, I would still buy it, but be unhappy with the price.

I think the seller send me a counterfeit product, since the serial number on the box mismatch with the label on the mouse. Ive included photos to verify the problem. The mouse itself feel very uncomfortable to move around because the sensor sometimes random slow down, make this mouse lack of precision when playing fps shooters or fast pace game. The left click seems very stiff and not like my old g400s which has a much better click response, the button feels smoother with crisp. Maybe Im just unlucky enough to received a defective mouse.

I just wanted to preface this by saying Ive been using Logitech mice most of my life, starting with multiple MX510 and an MX518. I was excited to hear that they relaunched the MX518 and ordered it immediately upon finding out. I was pretty disappointed to say the least when I actually started using it. It had the familiar grip and weight but the sensor is just straight awful. I can barely lift the mouse off the mousepad without the cursor going haywire. My 12 year old MX510 is still way more accurate than whatever this is. Feels like they just repackaged a garbage mouse as the MX518 in name only. Disappointed.

MX518 is a rebirth of a legend. Now updated with the latest in gaming mouse technology, including our exclusive and most accurate HERO 16K gaming sensor, 1 ms report rate, onboard memory, 8 programmable buttons and improved cable and durability, it’s everything you remember and more. MX518 has inspired legions of fans around the world to ask Logitech G to bring it out of retirement. And we heard you. We pulled the original tools from the vault and meticulously restored them. The classic, comfortable shape you know and love now has with the latest tech and a new Nightfall colour scheme.
