thin cheap wire, rubber pads glued on bottom crooked causing corners to stick up. i had the old model of the mx518 and that was made way better.

The feel of this mouse vs the original ones in the line is very disappointing. It is the right shape and seems to work fine but the plastic is cheap, the scroll wheel is flimsy, even the cord feels cheap vs the older ones. I would not buy it again.

This reminds me of the original and it helped resolve some lingering issues I had with my old mouse. Great purchase!

I used one when they originally came out for gaming many years ago. Recently started gaming again and it’s the same mouse that I originally loved. Just as comfortable and accurate as it was 15 years ago when I bought my first one

i bought it because the dog of my friend made a vase fall on my original MX 518 . i bought a G Pro but i liked my original MX 518 better ( better grip and overall use).So that is why i bought this remake. It is a very good mouse but i like the original MX518 more. This remake feels different( read for me less good). Nevertheless in my opinion one of the best mice you can buy nowadays

The buttons and scroll wheel feels cheap compared to the old version.

Does not need any installed software to work, it works right out of the box on Mac, Windows, and Linux (I use it for all three). No issues at all, though if you accidentally click the DPI buttons it can take a minute to get your cursor speed fixed again. Overally this is a really good mouse. I was skeptical because it seems they do not sell this model directly to the USA for some reason, so you have to buy it from a third party vendor who re-imports it from overseas (??? not sure how this works), but the mouse is legit. The only thing I do miss is the option for a free-spinning scroll wheel like in the MX500 series, but I have gotten by just fine so far without it.

The mouse overall feels great but the scroll wheel makes a really annoying squeaking noise
