> 3 dayI think the seller send me a counterfeit product, since the serial number on the box mismatch with the label on the mouse. Ive included photos to verify the problem. The mouse itself feel very uncomfortable to move around because the sensor sometimes random slow down, make this mouse lack of precision when playing fps shooters or fast pace game. The left click seems very stiff and not like my old g400s which has a much better click response, the button feels smoother with crisp. Maybe Im just unlucky enough to received a defective mouse.

> 3 dayWas excited to upgrade my daily. Went to plug in and its literally DOA. Not recognized by windows or mac, not in device manager, etc. Tried all the software etc. Not recognized at ALL, not in device manager, no sound, nothing... Upon further investigation, as shown in another review, this is a counterfit. Box SN is covered up by random sticker. Original sticker shows a different serial number than on the mouse. Could not be more upset. BUYER BEWARE!!! Too good to be true.

> 3 dayIf I jiggle the mouse cord while its plugged in to my primary Windows laptop, it stops being recognized by my laptop, and I have to unplug it and plug it back in. I dont have this issue with any other device I plug into my primary laptop. I didnt return it since it seems to work well with my Chromebook. I would pass on this mouse, however, in the future.

> 3 dayIve been using an MX518 gaming mouse for around 15 years and have loved it. I had to replace it once during that interval but was able to get the same exact model. I recently bought another one for a second computer thinking that it would be the same as the old model other than some minor cosmetic changes. As soon as I got the mouse I could tell that it was a cheap knockoff of the old model. The old model feels nice and solid in your hand, whereas the new one feels like plastic garbage. The new one also makes a slight rattling noise when you pick it up and place it down, whereas the old one did not. I dont necessarily have any complaints about the function or performance of the new model, but the feel is terrible by comparison.

> 3 dayPro: Nostalgia. Con: Unlike its original debut, MX518 is no longer a winner in ergonomic since all the mice ranging from $10 to $100 follow similar design. The new MX518 is true to its original design where scrolling wheel only has the clicky mode. I really wanted the switch between clicky and smooth/silent mode on the wheel cause the scrolling on this MX518 makes such loud noise. Overall impression: I would probably go back to a later version of logitech mouse or even a $20 cheap brand one, for the added functionalities. Unless you are an older generation of gamer looking for that old feeling, this mouse is not the best choice for the price.
