Sensor keeps randomly bugging out when playing games, doesnt work properly. First and last Logitech mouse Ill use for gaming.

Was excited to upgrade my daily. Went to plug in and its literally DOA. Not recognized by windows or mac, not in device manager, etc. Tried all the software etc. Not recognized at ALL, not in device manager, no sound, nothing... Upon further investigation, as shown in another review, this is a counterfit. Box SN is covered up by random sticker. Original sticker shows a different serial number than on the mouse. Could not be more upset. BUYER BEWARE!!! Too good to be true.

Pro: Nostalgia. Con: Unlike its original debut, MX518 is no longer a winner in ergonomic since all the mice ranging from $10 to $100 follow similar design. The new MX518 is true to its original design where scrolling wheel only has the clicky mode. I really wanted the switch between clicky and smooth/silent mode on the wheel cause the scrolling on this MX518 makes such loud noise. Overall impression: I would probably go back to a later version of logitech mouse or even a $20 cheap brand one, for the added functionalities. Unless you are an older generation of gamer looking for that old feeling, this mouse is not the best choice for the price.

Worked great for the first month. Promptly started stuttering after the return window closed. Wouldnt risk wasting your money.

I lost one of these I had before during a move to another city. This is my absolute favorite mouse so far. Highly recommend it!

Very comfortable and the weight feels nice and balanced to move around.

I just wanted to preface this by saying Ive been using Logitech mice most of my life, starting with multiple MX510 and an MX518. I was excited to hear that they relaunched the MX518 and ordered it immediately upon finding out. I was pretty disappointed to say the least when I actually started using it. It had the familiar grip and weight but the sensor is just straight awful. I can barely lift the mouse off the mousepad without the cursor going haywire. My 12 year old MX510 is still way more accurate than whatever this is. Feels like they just repackaged a garbage mouse as the MX518 in name only. Disappointed.

Good mouse overall but it feels much more light cheap and plasticky than the original. The original had a bit of weight to it and felt solid. This feels light and hollow.
