As a guy who loves lamp lighting, I love being able to turn on three in my living room at the same time. This product is super easy to set up and install. Got one and then immediately bought another for my bedroom as well. The only drawback is the plug adapter is a bit bulky, however it does not block off use for a second outlet (i.e. you can use the other socket when the adapter is plugged in).

Our apartment didnt come with light switches, so these came in handy. They work just like a light switch however I can plug multiple lights into them. I plugged string Christmas lights into mine and hung them around my room. Now, I just walk in, press on and my whole room is lit up. The adhesive was also super easy to just peel and stick to wall. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE. Great gift items too!

No more climbing out of your warm cocoon of a bed to turn off the light! Originally I bought a bluetooth socket to control my bedroom lamp but that quit working after a short couple of weeks. Not to mention it was annoying to have to pull up the app on my phone, let it load then click off the lamp. Im thrilled with this remote version! The socket is behind a heavy solid wood dresser and I was worried the signal would not reach but it turns on and off the first click every single time. I can stay in my warm bed all cozy and turn off the lamp when Im done reading or whatever. The remote also has an optional sticky pad on back so you can stick it to the wall next to your bed or wherever. Great feature! It is absolutely fabulous! Much better (and cheaper) than the bluetooth alternatives!

I got one of these for my son, so he could turn his light on and off, from his bed. The remote also comes with a little magnetic plate you can mount anywhere you want, that the remote will stick to, when you just want to use it where you might want the normal switch to be. It has been working great, so I bought another one, for my bedroom.

Getting excited over some stupid little switch may seem simple minded, but with the massive amount of product out there to choose from, every so often you get lucky. This easy to install switch is incredibly cool. I use several of them in the house for lamps that have those little (hard to get to) switches built into the electric cord. Now so easy, simply on or off in an easy location. The word handy best describes this little guy.

The plug design is too big for a standard 2-receptacle. The prongs are dead center of the puck so it overlaps the other receptacle making the other one useless. See some of the photos others have uploaded. Probably sending back when I find a better-designed unit.

I used it to make my plug in drum chandelier over my kitchen island switch operated. Since I plugged it in to an outlet in my upstairs loft I didnt want to have to walk up stairs to turn it off and on. This works perfectly. No connectivity issues at all. I did have to manually turn the lamp on after I plugged it into the device before it worked. After that it operates solely through the device switch.

It does not require a grandson to install. I use it to control an overhead light in my garage. It works so well, I plan to order more units. I have since ordered more and they all work great. The one thing Id like to see is for the receiving unit to be a little smaller. I use it in a double duplex socket and the size of the receiver impedes the adjacent outlet.

Before buying this, I had tried some different kinds of smart home remote controlled outlets, but I returned those because they were a pain in the donkey. This product is just plain easy and you dont need a smart phone, Google Home, Alexa, or computer. You get a convenient little round switch with a magnetic mount that sticks to a mountable ring. You can use it for other things, not only lights. Ive got one connected to my bathroom fan. The fan is in a fan/light unit in the ceiling of my bathroom. Unfortunately, being a combo unit, the fan always comes on with the light, but I noticed that inside there, the fan plugs into a small outlet. By making a very short extension cord, I was able to use the LoraTap Mini Remote Control Outlet Plug Adapter up inside the fan/light combo and then I stuck the switch on the wall between the toilet and the shower. You can now reboot it all by using one of these rather than running downstairs to pull the plug. Turn on the light in your garage by sticking the remote in your car. I gave one to my friend Bill and he used it for his aquarium light.
