    Greater than one week

No more climbing out of your warm cocoon of a bed to turn off the light! Originally I bought a bluetooth socket to control my bedroom lamp but that quit working after a short couple of weeks. Not to mention it was annoying to have to pull up the app on my phone, let it load then click off the lamp. Im thrilled with this remote version! The socket is behind a heavy solid wood dresser and I was worried the signal would not reach but it turns on and off the first click every single time. I can stay in my warm bed all cozy and turn off the lamp when Im done reading or whatever. The remote also has an optional sticky pad on back so you can stick it to the wall next to your bed or wherever. Great feature! It is absolutely fabulous! Much better (and cheaper) than the bluetooth alternatives!

Went with this one after previously ordering a different brand that didn’t work. Not only does this one work great, I actually like it better than the first one I ordered!

I love it! Its compact size and bi-stable operation are perfect for my needs. To achieve its small size, the device uses a bi-stable (a.k.a. latching) relay. A bi-stable relay has two stable states. It uses power only during the instant it is being switched on or off. A conventional relay uses power the whole time it is in the on state. A bi-stable relay allows the capacitors in the power supply circuit to be much smaller, making the devices smaller size possible. All tiny smart switches will have a bi-stable relay for this reason, but some will probably reset the relay to the off state when powered up. Fortunately for me, this unit does not do that. I solved the issue of the device being a little bit too big by moving it to the other socket on the outlet. That allowed me to plug a normal-sized 15 amp grounded plug into the other socket. Someone complained that the magnet that holds the transmitter to its base is too weak. Thats true, but I solved that by using a piece of Velcro-like 3M Command Strip to hold the unit to the wall, not using the base at all. The Command Strip can be easily removed from the wall without damage if you follow the removal instructions.

Im using this to control a kitchen garbage disposal as we needed its power outlet energized all the time to run a hot water unit. I have tried other devices of this type before, but this one is superior. What I like about it: - Super easy to install - Uses commonly available and cheap CR2023 battery - Attaches to the mounting plate with (stong) magnets, and holds firmly while still being easy to detach - Has the feel of good quality, and the on/off buttons have good tactile feedback and instant response If I had one complaint, it would be the price. I guess you get what you pay for, but Id probably buy a bunch more if it were less expensive.

Just installed this on a plugged in closet light... was able to stick the switch outside on the door frame, much easier than bending over and trying to find the little switch near the floor. Works flawlessly so far, and I love the stick up plate that the switch then magnetically sticks to. The plug would be nice if redesigned a bit so you could fit two in one outlet - its a little bulky. I know they make a dual one but if I wanted to plug another bulky item in the same outlet, I wouldnt be able to.

I actually tried a different wireless switch before this one, and am super happy that I kept looking, because this one works perfectly. I have a situation where I wanted to plug in some string lights, but the outlet is extremely hard to get to. I plugged them in to this, and boom, now I have a wall mounted switch that I can put anywhere. There are lots of wireless switches out there, but the biggest difference with this one is that its plug is small enough that is doesnt block the second outlet. Im using this in a space with only one outlet, so having the second plug blocked would be a big deal. The on/off switch is also really nice, doesnt feel cheap and looks kind of cool on the wall. Ive been using it for months now, and it works great every time.

Our apartment didnt come with light switches, so these came in handy. They work just like a light switch however I can plug multiple lights into them. I plugged string Christmas lights into mine and hung them around my room. Now, I just walk in, press on and my whole room is lit up. The adhesive was also super easy to just peel and stick to wall. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE. Great gift items too!

I have 2 lamps in my bedroom both controlled by a switch by the doorway. The lamps are plugged into the upper socket on the wall outlet which is controlled by the switch. A small lamp is on the nightstand beside the bed. The other is a tall floor lamp on the other side of the bed. Im handicapped. Hard to get around. I can turn off the small lamp by hand. Easily within reach. The floor lamp was always a problem for me, but no longer! Now I control it with this remote switch. Works great. Problem solved.

I use string lights in my office in place of the awful fluorescent lights. They plug in to the outlet behind my desk, and it’s tricky to get to. Since I began using this remote control outlet, I no longer have to get to the outlet to plug in and u plug my lights every day. The remote has a magnet on the back, which I keep on the whiteboard next to my office door. I walk in my door and use the remote to turn on the lights immediately. It has been very helpful.
