> 3 dayI use string lights in my office in place of the awful fluorescent lights. They plug in to the outlet behind my desk, and it’s tricky to get to. Since I began using this remote control outlet, I no longer have to get to the outlet to plug in and u plug my lights every day. The remote has a magnet on the back, which I keep on the whiteboard next to my office door. I walk in my door and use the remote to turn on the lights immediately. It has been very helpful.

Greater than one weekOur apartment didnt come with light switches, so these came in handy. They work just like a light switch however I can plug multiple lights into them. I plugged string Christmas lights into mine and hung them around my room. Now, I just walk in, press on and my whole room is lit up. The adhesive was also super easy to just peel and stick to wall. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE. Great gift items too!

> 3 dayNo more climbing out of your warm cocoon of a bed to turn off the light! Originally I bought a bluetooth socket to control my bedroom lamp but that quit working after a short couple of weeks. Not to mention it was annoying to have to pull up the app on my phone, let it load then click off the lamp. Im thrilled with this remote version! The socket is behind a heavy solid wood dresser and I was worried the signal would not reach but it turns on and off the first click every single time. I can stay in my warm bed all cozy and turn off the lamp when Im done reading or whatever. The remote also has an optional sticky pad on back so you can stick it to the wall next to your bed or wherever. Great feature! It is absolutely fabulous! Much better (and cheaper) than the bluetooth alternatives!

> 3 dayIm currently using this in my garage to control my shop lights. My only issue is the remote is held by magnets where it sticks to its wall plate or anywhere magnets can stick too. When its dark and when trying to reach for the switch I always accidentally push it off. It takes very little force for it to come off. I really wish it came with a holder that you can mount on the wall. I do like the idea you can carry the remote as the photos indicate but the truth is Ill end up losing or misplacing it. I did contact the vendor and was advised to review the magnets if they were lose or relocate the switch. Unfortunately, that is not the case and relocating does not truly solve my issue. Ill end up fashioning something so it can stay still, maybe look for stronger magnets or find a holder that will keep it in place. Overall its definitely a useful gadget and super easy to install.

> 3 dayAs described is ad, simple functional design. Worked flawlessly right out of the box, no pairing needed as supplied. Switch didnt take use too much space when plugged into outlet, other outlet useable. My outlet is wired to a wall switch for the lamp, the wall switch still works with this devise plugged in. After a little time of use and if all is still well, I will order 2 more.

> 3 dayThis little gadget works better that I anticipated. The remote works from the other side of the house. I thought it would only be able to turn on/off from the same room. Great for Christmas trees or anything else you dont want to craw, climb or bend to get to.

> 3 dayI have an old Coke machine and it doesnt have an on off switch, I would have to pull the plug all the time to turn it on an off. So I bought this switch and it works as a perfect way to turn the machine on and off and the magnet controller helps because I hid it on the back of the the coke machine. Now its just a quick touch for on/off. Reasonable price too!

> 3 dayThe plug design is too big for a standard 2-receptacle. The prongs are dead center of the puck so it overlaps the other receptacle making the other one useless. See some of the photos others have uploaded. Probably sending back when I find a better-designed unit.
