> 3 dayI use string lights in my office in place of the awful fluorescent lights. They plug in to the outlet behind my desk, and it’s tricky to get to. Since I began using this remote control outlet, I no longer have to get to the outlet to plug in and u plug my lights every day. The remote has a magnet on the back, which I keep on the whiteboard next to my office door. I walk in my door and use the remote to turn on the lights immediately. It has been very helpful.

> 3 dayEasy to set up and worked perfectly. The control had a nicely thought out design. The plug didnt fit in my one power strip but it fit in another one so thats something to consider. I noticed there were helpful videos on the internet for this product in case you needed to pair the remote or change the batteries.

> 3 dayIt does not require a grandson to install. I use it to control an overhead light in my garage. It works so well, I plan to order more units. I have since ordered more and they all work great. The one thing Id like to see is for the receiving unit to be a little smaller. I use it in a double duplex socket and the size of the receiver impedes the adjacent outlet.

> 3 dayinstalled this to our bedroom and it is working very well. easy to install and the switch is clearly marked on/off. Highly recommended product! Update: After using this product for about 2-3 months, suddenly it stopped working - turned out that the switch and the plug in part pairing was disconnected. I could look up online manual and re-connect/paired once again. Now it is working well again. If your unit suddenly stop working but if the on/off switch part lights up, look up online and re-connect them. It is not broken!

> 3 dayI was looking for a remote that doesnt require the remote to be the same room as the plug and this works extremely well. The plug itself is quite small and doesnt take up a lot of space. Would recommend, especially with how hard it was to find a remote that doesnt rely on the IR sensor.

06-06-2025Over the years Ive tried several types of remote switches for my bedside lamp with very limited success. Recently tried this one, even though it seemed a little pricey, and found it to be exactly what Ive been looking for. High quality and worked perfectly right out of the cute little box it came it. Wasnt sure I would like having a white hockey puck sitting on my table, but it is so low-profile that it isnt obtrusive. Maybe a wood-tone brown would be better, but anyway I liked this switch so much I got a second one and plan to buy at least a couple more! Note: Not sure exactly what happened, but after a power outage, the switch stopped working, and I first thought it had failed, which was very disappointing. In reality, the remote and switch had just become unpaired! I followed the pairing instructions that came with it, although they are a little confusing, and back in business! What a relief!

> 3 dayThis switch solved my problem of how to turn my outside garden pond pump on/off without having to go outside the house. The switch receiver plugs into the outside power socket that powers the pump. The on/off buttons are now inside , no wires required.

Greater than one weekExcellent. 10 out of 10 would buy again. Very plug and play, works like a charm for an overhead shop light that I installed on the ceiling in an awkward space that just happened to have an outlet on the ceiling. Instead of trying to wire in a new ceiling light just hung a shop light and plugged it into this bad boy.
