> 3 dayOK this thing is pretty nutty! Great adjustable light beam, LED so it seems like the battery will last a long time (havent had to change them yet, but its been light use so far). And the brightness...wow. So fun to play with! I took it to a corn maze with my fiancée and teens a few lanes over thought it was a spotlight when I first turned it on pointed into the sky!

> 3 dayI purchased two of these large MagLite flashlights. I have had one before but in my many moves in the last few years it has disappeared. So I bought one for me and one for my husband. He dare not touch mine if his is misplaced !!!! I keep mine on my night stand as I have trouble sleeping all night and I need a good light to roam the house when I cant sleep. I have numerous little maglites but they are hard to keep track of so I decided on the larger one. I love the thing.

> 3 dayI love Maglites. I do. They are amazing. They are strong, heavy duty and offer some awesome light. They are also great to keep in vehicles. You never know when and if you will need a flash light so we keep one in each room of our house, along with each vehicle. Here is the less commonly stated side...if you are ever in an emergency this flashlight makes a wonderful weapon. I have scared off a would be attacker with my 3 cell maglite. They are amazing. They are strong, heavy duty and last forever if well cared for.

> 3 dayYes its large, a bit bulky and somehow heavy. Thats the downside you have to pay to have powerful light coming from a led bulb that consumes very low battery. Adjustable focus makes the flashlight very practical. It works with 3 D cell batteries. If you pretend to carry it in your car dont hesitate in purchasing the accessory pack, it fits great!

> 3 dayThis is my first Maglite and i could finally throw away all the junk that I was using before. It for sure stands up to its reputation of being rugged and tough. It just have the right feel, handling it. The beam focus well, is easy to adjust and bright enough for the purpose I bought it for. Battery life is acceptable taking the level of brightness into account. When wet its a bit slippery so take care when using it in wet conditions. Its on the heavy side so keep a firm grip especially when using it in rough terrain. A great product, especially for Africa.

> 3 dayGreat, Maglites are tough & bright. My last one though I left the D batteries in there too long. They leaked and fused themselves inside the unit with corrosion. The digital camo wasnt something that I was looking for, but I dont mind it. The actual bulb of the unit is LED, so its very bright & the batteries will last quite a long time.

> 3 dayI pulled my old mag lite from a box a few days ago and it still fired up, but the old incandescent bulbs suck and arent bright. I ordered this unit to replace it. I get 80 hours life (not 79, I was sent the newest unit from Maglites site with a different stock number and all, brighter and all, super awesome sweet I was only hoping for that, dont order old stock) The LED head is similar to the old head and their focusing still gives a dark spot at most degrees. It is just WAAAAAAAY brighter and should give WAAAAAAY longer battery life and runtimes. 80 hours is a lot of battery life when you are conserving and add in all the other light sources such as candles and whatnot. You dont NEED light for everything.

> 3 dayBought this to take with me camping. It works well, not the brightest, but its durable. Ive had the same batteries in it for two years and they still work. When Im not camping, it stays on my nightstand as a weapon. Its heavy/sturdy and can definitely do some damage if thrown at someone.
