I got this for our two guinea pigs that live with my daughter at school. I like the fact that it turns off when it needs to and its not on all day because shes forgetful. The guinea pigs love it. Im glad that this one comes with a covering for the cabling because the last one was eaten by the smaller guinea pig who likes to chew. Its easy to keep clean. I honestly believe the older guinea pig was smiling when we finally got this one to replace a broken one.

I got the larger size due to having two cats, so I wanted enough room for them to share. It is almost too small for both of them to use. Although it doesnt seem big enough for a large dog. It seems to fit more of a medium sized dog more comfortably (comparing it to my 35 lbs dog) Something I also noticed was it didnt seem to heat up a lot but I think that is mostly due to the fact it will get between the body heat and the blanket of the animal. So they seemed to like it and use it every single time it is turned on. Helps with the chilly nights

My cats and I take turns stretching out on these heating pads. The temperature is constant and soooo soothing on achy arthritic joints!

This pad is helping keep an orphaned new born kitten warm while Im raising it. I havent been able to determine if its chew proof but the cord looks very sturdy.

I am revising my review because maybe it needed more time to heat up the whole surface. My foster kittens do like it after all. It takes some time to heat up. Not a bad purchase after all. I’m raising my star rating. - I just bought this for my foster kittens and I am not impressed because it barely heats up. I also don’tfeel the heat on the edges as much as the center. As listed, there are no heat controls .

I have purchased 20 of these pads for my rescue cats. I like the fact it has a long cord. I also like the fact I can plug it into an electrical timer so I can control when it comes on and shuts off. I use this product for my rescue cats who each have their own beds. In the past I have bought similar products to keep my cats warm but this product meets all of my needs to keep my cats warm on cold nights.

I used this with 2 day old foster kittens. I would lay it at the base of their nest and cover with a thin cloth for easy washing so I wouldn’t have to always take the cover off. It was perfect. The kittens stayed warm and safe, and when they messed onto the cover it was so easy to spot clean I didn’t have to take the cover off and put it in the washer very often. I preferred this pad over the microwave kind because the temperature is steady, it doesn’t get too hot but I don’t have to wait for it to be cold to reheat like the microwave type. I use the other type for temporary or travel use, like if they are being transferred I. The carrier or if I am putting them in a separate space to clean their area. This was ideal for what it was needed for and the covering over the cord made me feel safe that their little claws or new teeth wouldn’t damage it and cause harm.

I have a little chihuahua that absolutely loves this and he doesnt get too hot when he lays on it so it doesnt make him have to worry about getting up and not being able to remain comfortable. He has really bad knees and where we live it gets really cold, but whenever it rains he gets in pain so I thought Id get this for him instead of using a regular heating pad because it gets too hot for him and it doesnt make him feel comfortable enough to reduce his pain. I highly recommend this to anyone who else who has the same kind of issue with their animals or just because they live in an area that gets really cold!

My cat loves this pad. I find him sleeping on it a lot. I keep my home on this chilly side and my old, skinny cat crashes out on this heating pad everyday He doesn’t chew but the cord appears to be protected I pug it in. There’s no temperature control. Cat likes it
