> 3 dayIt took the Wild kitties 3 days to find the heat pad in the box laying on its side. Then I put a towel over 3/4 of the front of the box. Now the kitties are seen on the pad all day and when I look at night. The tamer one doesnt even come out to be petted now! Good buy as it has been in the low 20s at night.

> 3 dayThis does work great, and its just right for my cat... love the long cord.... but it does make a not-unpleasant noise about 1/3 of the time its on, which is basically like a very quiet cicada. Nothing terrible, the cat doesnt really mind and I dont either, but just saying... its making some noise. Some people might be put off by that or worry that its a fire risk. Doesnt seem to be.

Greater than one weekOur cat seems to like it - he sleeps on it every night. Temperature is good but I wish it were thicker and softer. I put it on top of a soft rug to make it more comfortable for his old bones.
