Greater than one weekMy outside kittens love this! I bought them an overpriced pet house for outside that they of course never used. Once I put this pad (which fit perfectly) in the bottom of the house, they have slept there every night since. I love that it doesnt get too hot to worry about it becoming a hazard with other blankets and things. Its just warm enough for the babies to know its warm and it uses their body heat as well to keep them cozy during our cold Florida winter nights. ;-) The cord is also covered in a plastic type material so no worries about them chewing on it and getting hurt.

Greater than one weekI wish it had an on/off control so it wouldnt need to be unplugged each time to turn off. However, to turn it on all that is needed is to plug it in. After I plugged it in the first time, I liked it very much. The pad maintains an even just-right warmth for my kitties and the cord is chew-safe. To turn it off, just unplug. It is a good, safe, dependable pet warmer, and my animals like it.

> 3 dayPurchased for 2 feral cats that have adopted my front porch for their over night sleeping area. Winter was getting pretty cold and they werent using the shelter but rather sleeping on my chairs. I wanted them to be warm so I purchased this. Doesnt feel like it gives off a lot of heat but if you sit on it, you can tell it works. After introducing one of the cats to it (she trusts us enough that we can pet her and I can pick her up), she uses it every night and has shown her buddy the new toy. I have it attached to an outside timer that goes on at dusk and off at dawn. Works perfect!

> 3 dayKeeps a constant temperature and works well. Puppies really like it to help keep them warm when they are very young. Cord is well protected, but sometimes my mammas chew off the blue cover and ruin the pad. I do have heavy chewers however.

> 3 dayMy little doggy loves the heat pad. I wish it had a timer to turn off after a period of time. That would be my only complaint but it wouldn’t stop me from buying again. I recommend this product & it arrived right on time for the cold winter.

> 3 daySo, I bought this because my cat was snuggling up against the register throughout the cold winter months and at times she was a little too toasty. I didnt want her to get too burned. And I had already made a makeshift cat bed out of a cardboard lid, some felt my mom gave me and a blanket. So, I just sandwiched this between the felt and the blanket to add a little bit of warmth to her bed and...she loves it. Sleeps in there all the time now. And it doesnt get hot enough to burn her, so, its all good. Shes a happy cat.

> 3 dayMy kitty is 20 years old and very thin. I’ve had a hard time keeping her warm. I put this pad on her bed, and she immediately laid on it. She used to want to stay in bed with me for warmth, now she sleeps on this all the time! The cord is a nice length, not too short. It seems to maintain a constant warm, but not hot temperature. I highly recommend this product!
