Melbourne Hardside Expandable Spinner Wheel Luggage, Charcoal, Checked-Large 28-Inch

I just bought the set, my first time using it, and I used the medium 24 size case to travel abroad for a 12-day trip. However, three days into the trip, I noticed that one of the back wheels had a crack near it and was quickly getting larger. By day 5, the wheel was hanging on by threads, literally, and the second back wheel was beginning to do the same. I ended up having to tape up the two wheels twice just to get it through the remainder of the trip. Note, that the bag wasnt even packed to its full capacity, and barely weighed half of the max airline amount.

Very worth the price . My only complaint is the smell. Very strong chemical odor and gave me bad headache . I tried to air them out for two days But instead the smell consumed upstairs. Just touching them left the odor on my hands. Finally I used soap and water to wipe them down with a wash cloth and that helped . I travelled to Ghana and Nigeria with them and they did very well. None of my wine bottles were damaged inside and the wheels worked great . I love it.

I really liked this suitcase for a little while, but after about 10 uses the bottom cracked open. It doesn’t roll anymore, so I will be throwing away. Really bummed!

I received a very damaged box that had apparently been re-taped several times. When I got the box open I saw that a piece of the largest suitcase had been damaged during shipping and you can see in the picture how another one is crooked. Im a frequent traveler and am not expecting these to last for long but the hi-vis color is what I was looking for. Each piece also comes with a lock.

I ordered this product in July 2015 and I gave it to Goodwill on 10/18/2015. I actually think I should have just thrown it away, but I hated throwing away something with the tags still attached! Thats right, I was never able to use this set because of the horrific smell!!! I tried everything to get rid of it. Its a mixture of motor oil and rubbing alcohol. Its awful. I sat the set outside, in all the elements for 2.5 months. Im about to take the trip that I bought the set for, I decided to see how the smell was. It was STILL there! I scrubbed with hot water and vinegar, sprayed the inside of each with odor killing spray, nothing worked! I obviously cant return them since Ive had them past 30 days, and I kept them that long because surely the smell would go away. It did not. Please think before buying this, and if the set you get smells, send it back. Apparently not all sets smell because some people love this set. I would have too, but the smell was just too much to overcome.

I was skeptical about it opening in the middle but I was pleasantly surprised to find it a benefit. I love the sturdy exterior. The color (purple) makes it identifiable on the baggage carousal. I would recommend this luggage to anyone.

I really love the size, the design of the inside and the wheels are awesome
