> 3 dayI took this set to Europe and had no issues at all. The plastic is a little smelly, but we just left them on the porch a couple days to air out and then they were fine. The smell did not permeate my belongings at all. Given the abuse luggage takes from baggage handlers at the airports, I was very impressed. My husband is a materials stress engineer, and he explains that while its a great low-cost composite material, its not indestructable so its important to make sure the bag is fairly full to avoid punctures from a large amount of weight without a load distribution. With that technical fact out of the way, I have really loved traveling with these pieces on the two trips weve taken so far. I also LOVE the bright pink color, which makes it quick and easy to pick the luggage out of a crowd at baggage claim. My husband ordered the exact same Melbourne set in silver, which is still unique but not nearly as much fun!

Greater than one weekI liked the concept of this luggage. It was lightweight, rolled easily, and had great storage. The main problem with the luggage was the horrible smell that came from the luggage itself. Everytime I touched the luggage my hands smelled like gasoline- the luggage stunk up our house so bad that I put it outside in the garage for a week to air out and that didnt even help the smell coming from the bags. Sadly this luggage is being returned!

Greater than one weekIve only flown across the country once with this luggage & was pleasantly surprised. When it was delivered, I was surprised that it wasnt a harder shell, but that is what makes it so extraordinarily light. The champagne color is absolutely beautiful! Got compliments from strangers. And it certainly stood out when picking up the luggage at the final destination. The carry-on was a joy to maneuver in the airports. So light & the wheels making the usual walking around much easier than the cloth carry-on I had. Since the champagne color is light, I did get some marks as a result of luggage handlers but that was expected. No cracks on the shell, as I was wondering if it would happen since not as hard as expected. Hoping I dont have any issues w/the wheels as other reviewers have acknowledged. Since a prime member, was expecting in 2 days but recd in 1! Great customer service! Thought overall, a good value for the money.

> 3 dayI ordered this 3 piece luggage set for our trip to Colorado! I was so in love with the style and the color and couldn’t wait to get it! When It got to me, the box that it was in was totally fine, but when I pulled the luggage out of the box, one of 4 side “bumper” pieces completely fell off. And left screws half hanging out.. I would have just fixed it if I was able to but there was no way to do that so I had to return it. It is very very lightweight.. that is a huge plus.. it rolls great and with ease.. so that’s another plus! I just feel like if pulling it out of the box caused a whole piece to fall off, then it may not be very durable. I could be mistaken on that because it COULD have just been broken before it ever made it to me.. I’m not 100% positive on that. But I pulled it straight up out of the box as soon as the mail man brought it to my door and it was immediately broken. I am ordering another one as soon as my refund hits because I am in love with the style and the champagne color. I’m just going to pray that the piece that was broken off was a fluke!

> 3 dayYou know how the luggage handlers in the airports throw the suitcases. They literally toss the luggage several feet. With soft cases the advantage is that they will withstand such tossing externally, but such impacts can damage items inside the luggage. The hard cases securely protect the stuff that is inside them, however when tosses with 50 pounds of weight inside them, they tend to take some beating. I owned another hard luggage set that cracked after 4 international trips. This product (Rockland luggage Melbourne) is really sturdy but still light weight. They look great too. We can stack a lot of clothes and other items for travel on both sides (top and bottom) of the case.

> 3 dayI bought these for $130. When unboxing, they had price tags on them. They were $200 for the largest, $150 for the middle size and $130 for the small one. There are multiple compartments inside each one for organization and they even came with luggage locks! I like that they ate expandable too. And yes, the small bag fits nicely in the overhead bin on an airplane.

> 3 dayZipper broke the first time I used it. Happened while I was waiting in line to board the shuttle bus, dumped some of my belongings on the ground. Thankfully it wasnt anything embarrassing with all the people around.
